"Double" and "Triple" HP Washing?
#1
How does Double/Triple HP Washing work?
Double:
Level up
5 AP into MP with over 140 INT (from gear/base INT)
Reset 5 into HP out of MP (Remove INT gear)
Reset 5 into Str/Dex/Luk out of MP
Repeat?

Triple:
Level up
5 AP into MP with over 140 INT (from gear/base INT)
Reset 5 into HP out of MP (Remove INT gear)
Reset 5 into Str/Dex/Luk out of MP
Reset 5 more out of MP into HP
Reset 5 more into Str/Dex/Luk out of MP
Repeat until you hit that magic MP limit?

So in theory, if you had enough MP you could Wash 4, 5, 6 times? Not that anything past 2 would be at all practical.

I'm pretty sure double washing is:
Hazzy Wrote:Level up
5 AP into MP with over 140 INT (from gear/base INT)
Reset 5 into HP out of MP (Remove INT gear)
Then next level:
-wear INT equips when you level up
-put 5 AP into HP
-take off INT equips (I think...it might not matter)
-take 5 AP out of MP and into a primary stat
(this step is basically just regular HP washing)

The reason you wait until the next level is because you get more HP out of levelup AP than reset MP. I really don't know how to do triple washing, though, and I'm probably going to be ninja'd with a much better response.

People who have hit min MP will use Double hp washing with 140~150 int to not run outta mp. Tripple is only for those who havent hp washed before and sitll have a plentiful of mp. This is how I do it.

1)LVL UP with 140~150 int
2)Put 5 points into MP
3)Reset mp and put into hp
4)Reset mp and put into str/dex/luk
---------
Costs 31k nx / lvl if you use all 10 AP resets.

If tripple, repeat step 3 and 4
---------
Can cost as much NX until you hit Min MP.

I'm 152 NL and have hit minimum MP...I only have 70INT in my gear for leveling up...can I use this method to wash more or is it too late for me?

Fixed for triple. You do not need to take off your INT gear (I forget the total INT needed though, and I am too lazy to calculate it right now), just fyi. But yes, you could wash 4+ times assuming you have the MP leftover still.

you need about 150 int for bowmen/thieves to get enough mp to double wash with the minimum mp gains, about 135 assuming you get the average mp on level up and on each point. IIRC someone calculated the MP gain through AP as (total int / 10) * 0.75

Min. MP gain + FLOOR(INT*.75/10) if if remember correctly. The min MP gain is like 14 for thieves, but that part might be the random 14-16; I can't remember right now.

"Double" Wash: Miserably described it correctly.
"Triple" Wash: iFrancisco described it correctly.

As for MP Gain, there are two different cases.
(All stuff below is for thief/archer.)
Level-Up
HP Gain: +20~24
MP Gain: +14~16 + Floor(INT/10)

Adding AP

Add AP to HP: +16~20
Add AP to MP: +10~12 + Floor(INT*.075)
NOTE: Since people are quoting this formula I posted a while back... I'm not absolutely certain about this formula for MP Gain, but I have yet to see a case disproving it.

And for gain/loss when using AP Resets:
AP Reset
Add to HP: +16
MP Loss: -12

If you want to guarantee "double"/"triple" wash each level from just the "Adding AP" part:
You need 187/347 INT.

If you want to factor in the MP gain from the levelup part:
You need 150/approx. 280 INT.
