KoC Blessing Question

How did the transition from "old" blessing to "new" blessing go for the version that has it changed?

GMS implemented the old way of blessing, which is parent chars linking main to cygnus.
Does this mean it's likely that we'll get the new link? Which I'm still not entirely sure of how it works.
But from what I understand, it's just linking the two highest level chars on the account. [?]

How did parent chars get removed in whatever version? Where did the blessing go if you had a 120 Cygnus linked to a 150 Adventurer, but there's also a 130 Adventurer on the same account?

Msea recently changed over to the newer system of doing the blessing of the sprite, so one could assume that after 2-3 months GMS will do the same thing.

Best way to explain the way the new blessing works (for me atleast) is with an example. Say you have:

Lvl 15x Hero
Lvl 120 Soul Warrior
Lvl 13x Bishop
Lvl 16 NLC Pot mule

Under the new system, the Soul warrior, Bishop and pot mule will all have level 15 blessing of the sprite from the Hero. The Hero will get lvl 13 Blessing of the Sprite from the bishop.
