Lose slot if you delete a character with Cygnus on account?

First of all, hello everyone! I'm brand new to southperry.net and fairly new to Maple Story (just started playing 3 months ago). Second of all, I apologize if this question has already been answered.

Basically, I'm wondering if I were to delete a character on an account with 4 characters (4th slot taken by Cygnus) will I lose that slot because I did not pay for it? I'm afraid that if I do delete it, the Cygnus will then become the third slot and I'll lose a character slot.

I made a cygnus when I had only 2 other characters, and the one slot stayed. You may have to go left --> to look for it. I assume it will stay if you delete a character, but I don't know.

You do not lose the slot if you delete your character.

Everyone got +1 base slot from cygnus patch, and maximum slots was doubled. You will not lost your spot, your cygnus will move forward onto the main screen, and the new adventurer/cygnus will appear to the right.
