This is why you use Fiel's (pre-)patcher. I've stopped using Nexon's patcher a long time ago and never had problems anymore.

Only thing you can try now is using manual patch. If that doesn't work, redownload the whole client.

Same thing happened to me. I learned long ago to make a copy of the MS folder before patching though, so I just used that back up and patched again. Then it worked

I was having a similar problem to this. My antivirus (NOD32) was picking up maplestory.exe as a virus. We didn't figure this out till I had a friend try to send me his maplestory.exe and NOD32 picked up that one as a trojan and quarantined it. I imagine this was happening everytime I tried to patch. (I tried several times because I happened to have the last install)

I disabled NOD32 and everything worked fine. NOD32 updated later that day though and I haven't had the need to disable it since i finally patched properly.

A friend have the v71 install file so i decided to uninstall my maplestory and install it, then start to patch but this happened again!!

Aww i have to download the current versionFrown

Also i always been using NOD32, this never happened me before until this time. The only thing my antivirus do is send it to quarantine some temp file when i start the maplestory exe, but there's no problem to continue and play.
