Regarding "Leeching Mechanics".

Hi guys,

I know you guys hate leeching, so I won't sugarcoat my questions using the name of science, so here it is.

Eligibility for leeching includes the followings:
- Dealing dmg to the mob
- Being within 5 levels away from the mob, or the finisher. (Direct Leecher)
- Being within 5 levels away from the Direct Leecher. (Secondary Leecher)

Question is: Does the Secondary Leecher receive a portion of the Direct one's EXP? Or is the leeched exp divided equally among leechers regardless their roles?

EXP received by the highest damager = Monster EXP * (0.2 + 0.8 * Player level / Total party level) * Party's portion of EXP {see 'When not partied'} * Party bonus
(Total party level = sum of the levels of all players that satisfy leech conditions. When not partied, you count as your own party.)

EXP received by other party members = Monster EXP * (0.8 * Player level / Total party level) * Party's portion of EXP * Party bonus

Yes I plan to leech my NW at Skeles and leech someone along the way, so I need to figure out the relative speeds at which we'll both be going.

Killer is level 100.
Primary leecher is 95.
Secondary leecher is 90. So far, it's proven that this works.
3rd is 85 - Does this work?

I can test this, just gonna have to risk a BSOD from running an excessive amount of Users.

cant do leech chains like you suggest. only secondary. no tertiary or quaternary etc.

the section quoted from the formula thread has everything to answer the question: you receive exp based on relative levels in the leeching members of the party
