So, we're all hyped up to wash our characters with this sale going on, but not all of us were prepared for it. I never thought I'd wash my Shadower until this sale came along, and now I've already got a pack of 20 resets sitting in my CS transfer inventory. I've done the simple math (Level x 14 + 148), and it looks like I can only wash about 32 resets worth. This makes me sad, because I really wanted to push myself up to about 5k HP, but with 32 washes, I'll only be around 4.6~4.7.
My current HP is 4184 (After already using 5 out of my 20 resets), and my MP is sitting at 2875 (With my minimum MP being 2486). What I'm asking of you, dearest Southperry, is a way to wash more than 32 points worth without having to level up another dozen times. I plan on getting to about level 172 (Currently level 167), if that means anything in my undying crave for HP. I don't care if I have to spend twice as much money, and I don't care if I have to wash "twice" to have it affect my HP. I want to hear what you HP washers would do if put into my shoes. I've heard of something called "double washing", where one puts their points into MP after they level up, then they wash the points out of MP into HP, then out of MP again into their stats. Is this effective enough to push me to my 5k goal?
throw anything at me, I just want my goddamn 10k buffed HP by level 172

I'm no pro HP washer, but I do know it'd be helpful to know if you have INT equips and if so, how good.
Double washing is much more effective (especially for thieves, I hear...) if you add into MP wearing INT equips, then take the equips off before you reset out of MP.

From what I read, double washing always gives you 16 HP. I'm not too sure if it'll be able to push you to 5k.

Double washing is perfect, but only if you have int gear(which im somewhat assuming you have access to some). You can wash 32 times you said and it still leaves you 300-400 short? MP washing(double washing or w/e you wanna call it) is more or less a way for people to hit HP goals with washing when either they dont have many levels left or dont want to level too much. If you get a good 120 int (maybe less, but i know it works with this) you can do as you stated, put the 5 ap from level up into MP (with int gear on you gain a bonus, plus int gear from level up) then reset from MP into HP. Then out of MP again into stats. So you could ideally do 5 washes a level, even if you were near/at the minimum mp. So get those 32 washes out of the way first, i'd say, then work on MP washing.
And yes, MP Washing is most effective for ranged characters/ shads, because for warriors/buccs, from what i can tell, adding to hp from somewhere other then level up AP doesnt give you Max HP Increase Bonus.
Also thing to note, when you add points into MP (or HP for that matter) you automatically gain the least amount possible. So you will only gain 10 mp + bonus from INT equips each point that you put in for MP washing. But still, when you dont have a lot of levels, its the way to go.

Well if you want to spend extra $$$ you could reset some ap into int while you lvl to help you get more mp every lvl up so you can use more ap points. Then you can reset back after you are done. (sounds expensive and hard to train)
Also if you gift something from the cash shop and you can stay out of the cash shop awhile the 90 day limit is set after you pick up the gift. (helps give you more time to train and lvl up to get more mp and have more hp)

Oh wow, I never thought of this. Let me as you (or anyone else with an answer) a question: Is it possible to gift a character of my own on the same account? Also, let's say A, B, and C were all on the same account. D is on another account, and D sends a gift to B. Will I only recieve the gift if I go into the CS on B, or will I recieve it if I go into the CS on any character on the account?

Correct me if I'm wrong but ap resets remain in your inventory for 90 days before expiring, correct?
If so, then the sale ending at the end of July, means you can buy a handful of resets to your heart's desire on say July 27th then within 3 months level up those 'dozen times' to meet the mp requirement. Basically, you have more time than you think.

I thought that adding AP into MP when wearing equips didn't do anything. Let me try to find the thread.
Edit: Nevermind, it's only for when you reset points into MP that nothing happens.

Yeah, I'm gonna be buying them on their final day in the CS no matter what, but I don't see myself leveling up my Shadower much after this EXP curve shifts back, not to mention I'll be training my Cygnus.
Also, I tried gifting to a character on the same account; didn't work.

Edit: Nevermind, it's only for when you reset points into MP that nothing happens. For thief (and probably archer also), adding your level-up AP into MP goes by:
10~12 + Floor(INT*.75/10)
Fairly certain that's accurate. Or at least, it's held true for all my test cases so far. [FYI, My test cases include 140, 160, 172 INT (and some more in that range.. I don't remember them all) on my main and 5x INT on a mule. (Now that I think about it, I probably should've bought 2 Aura Rings to bump me up to 174 INT while I had an INT Maple Leaf. )]
