AP and SP Bundles Sale
#21
I am quite sure they'll make other such sales in the future. They'll make a fortune off this, no reason why they wouldn't do it again.

This sale would be the stuff of my dreams if I still played. Now I am glad I don't because I would have blown 120 dollars on AP resets.

They know it's a gold mine, that's why the pull this stuff every once in a while.

In reality it'd be better for nexon to just have it be permanent, but it's not going to happen. >.> Silly business model makes no sense, though they did do something right with 3k karma scissors.

It wouldn't make sense for them to make it permanent. If they're usually expensive, their perceived value is expensive. If they're always cheap, that's what people will perceive them as, and they'll "devalue." People will still buy them, but all in all Nexonazis will make less on them.

The key to viewing cash shop is remembering that virtually everything in there is worthless. You are not buying an iPod or a TV, you're buying upgrades that don't exist for a character that doesn't exist. The price they've tacked on is totally arbitrary, and they could have sold it for 5 times less. Everything is a mind-game where they try to make you see that stuff as valuable, but if you ever quit Maple for good, what I am saying will hit you loud and clear. Some people succeed in selling their characters for $$$, (not that I am advocating that,) but how do you sell a safety charm or an AP reset?

This is why I use the MTS for all of my NX needs. I have a steady flow of mesos to get a store when I need it, or a 4 hour 2x card when events come around. No need to waste real life money.

Yeah, I was always a $hitty merchant so I simply worked a regular job and converted $$$ to NX. It's a crappy alternative to merchanting but it's something.

I usually have nothing to sell, so I just charge NX.
