Where did all the Octopi Go?

So I'm working on my Monster Book, and I'm a bit annoyed that I can't find any great places to hunt for Octopi anymore. They are no longer down in the Damp Forest or anywhere near Sleepywood it would seem. The only place I've been able to find the is right around Kerning City.

Am I missing someplace obvious that I can hunt them?

There is a hidden street with a load of them... Just go 1 map to the right of kerning. Go up to the top of the structure. Then press up on the yellow sign thingy. That map is filled with only octopus. ^~^ This is a really great place to train too for 2x.

It's actually filled with both Bubbling and Octopus. Both have a great spawn so you can kill two birds with one stone.

Last time I went in there... there were octopus and blue mushrooms. When did they add bubbling?

When they did the massive map spawn changing that came along with Monster Book, drop table altering, etc.

Tip: Go to Northern Top of Construction Site. Try to keep the place secret. Don't want it to be the next Caution, complete with massive mob of people. I got 6 cards there. That is so many it doesn't fit anymore. I also got 2 Blue Mushroom cards there. Awesome, it is.
