Equipment above theoretical max?

It would make sense though. Since HT pendants are almost useless because of MoN, there isn't much of a reason for HT runs to happen since there would be fewer buyers, if any at all. Most I can think of would be MW 20, but chests have been giving those out as well. If they increased the stats of boss-dropped gear, it would make them worthwile to hunt again. Would be nice if it extended to every boss and not the major ones, but meh.

Um........ Well, I could give you a bunch of screen shots on the items used to forge them, but you may not understand Japanese. lol

Let's say you forge a 34 attack Scarab. You add in a Forging Stimulator, which bumps it up to 39 attack. Then you add in a +3 attack High-Grade Diamond. Then you add in a High Grade Dark Crystal, which works like a Chaos scroll, so that's +5 more possible attack. That right there is +13 attack above average.

so a 47att clean scarab is possible? oh eff that... a sleve wuld be like 54+13.... 67att clean.... so the perfect sleve can turn out 102 att... the first triple digit claw... i'll be leaving dexless skanda user if that's true f3

dang... guess no 102 att sleve... but 98 sounds pretty freggin amazing too. Timeless could in theory break 100att though, right?

A perfect Timeless claw has about 116 atk... it's just very very very unlikely you'd ever get one. Forging items drop from Pink Been, you'd need to get in the top 2% of random stats multiple times...

Sorry to bump a old thread but I ran across it on Hidden-Street.

I got a 86 Attack Maple Glory Sword after upgrading an average Maple Sword using 2000 leaves with Cassandra. So the upgrade process can get you higher stat that what Hidden-Street says.

Hidden street isn't really a reliable source. If 86 is within 7 att from average, then that should be normal.

You could still hit triple digits with the Reverse Lampion because thats what he was asking. Plus all you need is the default damage increase over the sleve, item level ups would just be icing on the cake.

It might be only certain items? I searched and searched, and never found a shine wand or wisdom staff above 85 m.atk.

Also, it could be an error on Nexon's part, again. The max above average an item can go is 5, and lower leveled items shouldn't reach that. They might have just accidentally deleted the restriction. I wonder how long before hackers find a way to abuse this, if possible.
