KMS Paladin skill change question

With KMS's respective skill change, one part of it interested me. It states that

"the sword after images have been removed" When talking about blast. Can anyone enlighten me on to what they meant when they said that? Is it that the effects of blast with different charges are gone? Or what. Any videos with the new KMS paladin blast would be useful to figure out what got changed as well.

When you attack with a melee weapon, the afterimage of your attack determines what you hit, regardless of the weapon you're using. Blast used to be like Power Strike and normal attack in that it would use the afterimage (except it's always a stab animation). With the updates it has a fixed range like Brandish, and you'll be able to use a 1h sword and hit with the same range as a 2h sword user.
