A possible mage fix

So...let me get this straight. You want Archmages to not only have better mob attacks, but far better single target damage than a Polearm DrK, as well as attacking a lot faster? Sorry, no. Polearms are low-tier single target DPS too, perhaps even lower than most AMs, esp where elemental weapons are concerned, and we are far surpassed in mobbing capability by them. There is no reason to make us completely dominated in every aspect of the game.

No... if you read my post... I want the arch mage to be less dependent on Amp. I do not want the faster attacking speed. Polearm DrK's are not considered in this post. Most people quit those after 4th job anyways... o.o this is only concerning the mage class str and the complete uselessness of an arch mage at bosses. If polearm DrK's are so fail... make a thread talking about how they need to raise their dmg too.

If we get more single target DPS, we need to cut back on mobbing. It isn't fair that Bishops get more base att. without amp, but I think that the answer to this is a nerf to bishops, not an increase to AMs.

And if bishops rage, big deal. There's already an excess of them, if some quit does it really matter? Besides, they'd still probably be the fastest levelers in the game with a nerf anyways.

I say what I say because nexon will never nerf bishops... This is IMO the only real possible solution in nexon's eyes... Sad

I am 134 and my HP is OVER 2000 and my MP is over 10k.
I am not lukless or anything either...
What did you do to yourself?Glitter

that HP has to be with HP gear on or added AP to it. on my bishop at lvl155 im at 1989 or 1999 HP clean-no hp from gear, etc. on my 200 AM, i have 2435 clean HP. or i think its clean, i doubt what crap gear is left on her gives any HP but id have to check. still she is at 2435.

as for 10k mp--thats average by lvl 110....120 tops. i reached 10kmp at lvl 104 on my bishop.

No-Delay, CEF, and HA Repacker is your friend. Hacking is the equalizer: The equivalent of the Colt .45 for mages. No longer do mages have to stand around and wait while other classes completely outdamage us at Zakum. Using a 15 weapon attack lollipop and clean level 78 armor I can completely dominate a particular 15x Bowmaster at Bigfoot. Pineapple RedFalchion.

I'm glad you are proud of yourself.

A weaker, faster ultimate is still a ultimate. What I'm saying is, you still get to cover the whole/majority of the map, hitting up to 15mobs, the only difference is 1hko becomes 2hko, or 2hko becomes 3hko, and depends on how much faster it gets, the ultimate is still a ultimate, nothing changed.

IMO, if we're ever gonna nerf ultimate, make it have a longer cast time. Or to make it interesting and realistic, make it you actually have to "cast" it, like when you press the skill, your char starts to gather the respective element from the air, and when it reaches a certain amount, you can release it.

But to think it again, what can mages do with a nerfed ultimate(let say nerfed to 10sec per cast)? Low single target damage and poor killing speed...? So it's not a simple problem of changing, nerfing/buffing one skill, you change one, everything has to be chnaged to match it.

That's why I say 4th job mage is a fail(the design).

Maybe a 10 second cooldown after the attack. 10 Seconds of sitting there would be teh suck.

Cooldowns are meh.

Infinity dependent makes it like the pirates' STransform/Energy/Battleship model, with different sets of skills to use in different states, except implemented a different way. The other skills (CL, demon etc) would have to be buffed to be on par, though.
