Mushroom House not lasting the full 24 hours?

Supposedly when I opened a Mushroom House, it said that it would be open for up to 24 hours before it closes. However, it never seemed to even approach the entire 24 hours before I come back on to find out I need to retrieve my items from Frederick. Is there some sort of hack/bug that can D/C even Mushroom Houses, or they lied about how long a Mushroom House can remain open for? It seems more like 12 hours rather than 24 hours before my House closes.

To all the servers? This was Bellocan in case you didn't know. But that may make sense because I double checked my shop before I hit the hay, very close to 2 am PST, but not AT 2 am PST, nor after 2 am PST.
