Nexon Nerfs Heros training area
#1
I have been training at CWK guards since i was like 13x. Well i go there today and i notice that they added a SEAL animation now. I thought "Wow how nice, Now I know when they are doing it compared to before "Biggrin Well that bit of happiness lasted maybe 1 minute. I started noticing the regularity of the sealing. I was used to spending 100-150 holy waters an hour there, but now it appears it would take 2-3x that amount an hour. I cant get off more than 2 brandish strikes before I get sealed again.Frown I hope this is an oversight and will be repaired soon, because i really love that training area versus skeles.

First they messed around with their attacks when it comes to damage, meaning that I burn way more potions there, and now they do that?

Ah well, I can still get 9%/ hour at skeles which is probably similar to what CG's used to be. (In the new skele map that is)

Their seal's vertical range was decreased, but their seal got faster and now works 100% of the time. I have to use 250 allcures an hour on my MM now, but it's probably fine for you heroes now that the superspawn skelegon minidungeon has been released.

They also have a bigger hitbox, which results in harm to anyone kb'ing them on the right hand stairs (at least from where you have to be to use fury). This means sniping them while in berserk is no longer an option. Increased seal spammage while trying to maintain berserk from 3.8k damage (touch) and 1.8k ranged attacks means I'm potting for 2 different things CONSTANTLY and rarely having time to attack. Weird invisible walls making rush a lot less useful as well...

Leaving newts and Himes my only main training options atm (not strong enough to kill skelz without getting blasted yet)

What the hell is this? I was already discouraged from trying out CGs because of their 5k sword hits. Now they seal so fast that getting off attacks in time is very difficult? gg on nerfing a well liked training spot.

What's wrong with getting blasted at skeles? Sure, it burns potions but it's not *that* bad if you are careful to mob properly. Compared to CG's anyway.

And skeles probably have at least a few drops. Where as CG's have none.

Meant to say blasted twice, which = death for a zerking DrK of my level. A 3.6k blast also hurts like bloody hell and is a major pot drain. Exp isn't that great at newts/skels without a party of some sort, and is only actually decent for me with a Archmage/Bishop. I can still Hime for 7-9% an hour if I zerk 100% though.

I do an average of 19-22k fury with berserk (as low as 17k, as high as 25k) on Skels. I can get about 2-3 hits in without getting hit, but the time concern comes into play when I am also trying to rush together a useful mob. It's less efficient and slower for me to kill in pairs or clusters like a Spear DrK would, and taking the time to rush (which aggros) them gives them more time to buff and attack.

Ah, okay. That makes sense Sad
Thanks for explaining to me clearly, even though I probably came across as really ignorant Tongue

So I guess the DrK's got hurt by this a lot more than the heroes did, as we now have that skele map.

Maybe they are just experimenting with different versions of CG's like they do with BF. What version are we up to now? 3.0?

I just got 8.9 million in crimson guardians. For the skelegons, I use speed potions, rushed the monsters, and brandish from one platform to another. I got 9.7 million exp an hour in the mini dungeon of skelegons. I 2-hit kill them.

Please specify normal or 2x exp.

That's in normal training.

For you guys at Skeles, if you have at least 12 jump or something, it's possible to jump over their lazerz. I wouldn't rely on that to save your ass, but it really helps avoid the punishing hits =P
