My Quest To 2HKO Skelegons! - Conciente - 2009-03-17
I've always been fascinated with the idea of finally being able to 2HKO Skelegons. Currently I can 2HKO them with Ciders(20 ATT pot) but not 100%... more like 40-60% of the time.
Equips:
Editted out for security.
Clean Range: 2222 - 4045.
Range with MW 20: 2424 - 4418.
Questions:
- What's the range needed to 100% 2HKO Skelegons? This is maybe a hard question to answer.
- What should I upgrade?
- Level 177.
- I will NOT convert to low-DEX. I am DEX-less for life!

11 ATT Naricain Pendant.

I think the question on what to upgrade is pretty obvious.
You need a better claw and a better glove and higher attack stompers.
Btw, scrolling DEX on your zhelm will help your range and will still keep you dexless.

With your current min around 20k I think it should be clear that 100% 2hko is not going to happen no matter what you upgrade >_> You'd need about 260 atk.

Dex doesn't do anything to L7/TT's damage range. So that's null.

if i where you i would convert to a night shadow claw since thats the highest atk base dexless claw and they are becomming cheaper and cheaper

And to do that you need somewhere around... I think somewhere around 7.5k minimum range, or over 3 times your current range.

Nah, it's not useless. You still kill it in less hits, just not by whole numbers.
E.g. you upgrade something, before you were able to 2-hit 50% of the time, now you can do it 55% of the time.

That range is pretty low for a 177, mine's 43xx with MW at 157. I really think you should consider becoming low-dex; your range should go up exceedingly high If you had a 62+ atk claw.
Try it out then and you should atleast 85%+,- 2hko skelegons.

You wanna 2 hit KO skeles? become low dex with a good craven/sleve and you'll see 2 hit KO's a lot more often.
These guys who say that it's impossible to 2 hit KO forgot to factor in venom. Maybe you one 100% 2 hit KO because of that one TT that doesn't crit or venom, but you'll be pretty close.

realistically he can with venom, but the numbers still dont make up a 100% 2 hit KO, if venom doesnt trigger then he wont 2h KO em, but I doubt he was hoping for a realistic 100%, so yeah...

Averaging 10k stars per hit (maximum hits around 15k's, minimum hits around 5k's), that's 30k w/o SP and 45k w/SP. 45k x 2 = 90k, skelegon/saurus has 80k/85k. Averaging 10k stars doesn't seem impossible so why should 2-hitting be impossible...?

I repeat, converting to low-DEX is not an option. I started as DEX-less and I will finish as DEX-less.
Right now I am working on getting a 59 ATT, 1 Slot Skanda but yeah, I'm one of the poorest people on my server. Even if I get that claw, I am 90% sure that I would just 100% the last slot. Anyway, I kinda lost the motivation to upgrade because if I can never 100% 2HKO there's no point. My venom does ~30k MAX but that doesn't always activate.
I've always been one of those NLs that don't care about their damage(what?! An NL that doesn't care about damage? HUH?!?!), hence my "low" range and "weak" damage. Lately I've been fascinated with the thought of 100% 2HKO'ing Skelegons because that's one of the only things that I have yet to do in this game but if it's not possible, I will not even try.
