Spoiler
experiemented on what? seems those parts form something, maybe a new boss? maybe another statue where you have to drop those items? i guess cwk are not done yet... btw theres no story, you just go on PQ , finish , go out and that is it, where is the demon? how the keep got ruined this way? discuss plz, and if anyone have more items or could extract the ones with similar descriptions would be nice post it xD CWK weapons mystery, where is the end of storyline? - Cyanne - 2009-03-15 Errr, the descriptions are referring to the items themselves... as in, it may be wise to hold onto the Mark of Naricain, and the Dragon Gauntlet was imbued with strange properties as if it was experiemented(sic) on. I think the story is contained within the Jack NPCs during the PQ. You don't exactly have time to read them, though. (For example: If you stop to read the last one, you must sacrifice your bonus.) CWK weapons mystery, where is the end of storyline? - Saar331 - 2009-03-15 there are rumors naricain will be versal's boss.. i am really dissappointed from cwk pq it could be harder with more stages.. and make bosses have more stuff... and the most weird one that there is no storyline quest around weird CWK weapons mystery, where is the end of storyline? - IsaacGS - 2009-03-15 Saar331 Wrote:there are rumors naricain will be versal's boss..Read what Jack says and you won't be wondering. If you read the Masteria Expansions thread, I talked about them a bit. We've known about them for a long time now (since NLC's release) but this is their first mention in game. The Dragon Door out in the secret NLC map is theirs, and they are definitely bad guys. The two ninja guys, Scarlet Phoenix and Azure Ocelot, who spawn when Red Nirg is defeated, are likely members. This glove is probably intended as a clue to one of the next expansions. CWK weapons mystery, where is the end of storyline? - Antonie - 2009-03-15 about naricain, wasnt he the demon who got in a fight with a mage? their both power is kept in the dark scrolls or am i wrong O: CWK weapons mystery, where is the end of storyline? - Outland - 2009-03-15 Hendrix Wrote:hi everyone, cwkpq is out and the new weapons and everything else too. but theres no quests except the d/c quest one, but something is still missing, weapons and pendant come with some weird description (maybe more items too, but i just have those 2): You need it for Icebyrd's quest. Hold onto it. Quote:Dragon Gauntlet:If it's been experimented on, I could guess it has something to do with Dr. Krakia? Unless the Dragon Ninjas can experiment with weapons like Fiona does with the Raven Ninja weapons. Quote:seems those parts form something, maybe a new boss? maybe another statue where you have to drop those items? i guess cwk are not done yet...I think CWK is done. The next expansion looks like Krakia. Quote:btw theres no story, you just go on PQ , finish , go out and that is it, where is the demon? how the keep got ruined this way? The storyline was laid out to you even before the PQ came out. Jack says you have to stop these evil Grandmasters. He saw a map of Masteria and that they were planning an attack with an army. If you do finish the entire PQ, you go into the room Jack was talking about. There's a large table, and a map of Masteria marked with X's. Where's Naricain? There's a hologram of Naricain in that very room. This room is the one right before the bonus itself. I think the story about how the keep got ruined was also told to you in previous quests. The Krakians under the influence of a Black Magician or Dark Alchemist (I get both confused) attack the Keep. Not sure if that was how the Keep ended. I forgot. CWK weapons mystery, where is the end of storyline? - Holypie - 2009-03-15 =O an Anoif? and an Okoj and Om and Nirggat? the last one sounds too racist though CWK weapons mystery, where is the end of storyline? - IllegallySane - 2009-03-15 It would make sense though: CWK Grandmasters are defeated, so now the next course of action is to attack the big man himself in Versal who began the attack in the first place.. CWK weapons mystery, where is the end of storyline? - Holypie - 2009-03-15 then how did Red Nirg get a hold of them? :f6: unless he got them before the keep was released CWK weapons mystery, where is the end of storyline? - Lozmaster - 2009-03-15 Holypie Wrote:then how did Red Nirg get a hold of them? :f6: unless he got them before the keep was released Evil grandmasters from another dimension brought an entire army of evil minions with them, enough to raid the entire CWK area anyway. How hard is it to think up a perfectly plausible excuse where Nirgs (Assumed) personal minions could come from.
CWK weapons mystery, where is the end of storyline? - Sn1perJohnE - 2009-03-15 one, the MoN says to "hold onto it" as it is important for future events possibly (maybe past the Icebyrd quest), The dragon gaunlet, im guessing, may be used later to upgrade to a better glove or something, tho, and this is far fetched, they could have planned it to be a leveling equip (like timeless) and add stats when it levels, but there is nothing to support this now aside from the description, as we have no other equips that have the leveling attribute. CWK weapons mystery, where is the end of storyline? - IsaacGS - 2009-03-15 Holypie Wrote:then how did Red Nirg get a hold of them? :f6: unless he got them before the keep was releasedWe have three groups of "bad guys" at the moment. Dragon Ninja Clan, Twisted Masters and their Corrupt Army, and Dr. Krakia and his goons. They all seem to be cooperating for some reason, but we don't know what their goal is. As I said, the two guys that spawn after Nirg dies seem to be Dragon Ninjas. Since the weaponry of the Twisted Masters can be obtained in the bonus (Redner for example), then why wouldn't the equipment of the Dragon Ninjas? (Hence, Dragon Gauntlets) The description there is just to serve as a teaser for the future areas. I think that itd be nice to have some kind of equip from each Master (Redner is from Nirg, so why not) CWK weapons mystery, where is the end of storyline? - MasPan - 2009-03-16 Antonie Wrote:about naricain, wasnt he the demon who got in a fight with a mage? their both power is kept in the dark scrolls or am i wrong O: Naricain = "Satan" = Dark scrolls Subani = "Jesus" = White scrolls Substitute relevant religious/moral figures for Satan and Jesus. CWK weapons mystery, where is the end of storyline? - Hendrix - 2009-03-16 i dont feel cwk is over too, but if is i am really disappointed with cwk 2, we did so many quests to get mark of heroism /map and the story about the keep used to be so exciting, but the expansion is just a PQ with no quests (well 1 quest), no story, some "hints" of something, and a bunch of random items (the bonus stage). kinda sad CWK weapons mystery, where is the end of storyline? - Outland - 2009-03-16 Hendrix Wrote:i dont feel cwk is over too, but if is i am really disappointed with cwk 2, we did so many quests to get mark of heroism /map and the story about the keep used to be so exciting, but the expansion is just a PQ with no quests (well 1 quest), no story, some "hints" of something, and a bunch of random items (the bonus stage). kinda sad I suggest you skip the bonus, and take the time to talk to Jack in the room right before the bonus room. He has A LOT to say. Read fast. |
