Maple freezing on exit - TugboatWilly - 2009-03-12
just started happening yesterday. it was doing it before i cwk pq'ed but after that, it didn't do it, and now it's doing it again.
when i close maple, i'm stuck with a black screen until i bring up task manager to exit the "not responding" maplestory. anyone ever have this problem before or know how to fix it? thanks in advance. 
edit: using windows xp sp3 btw.

Easy. Alt tab out, bring up Task manager and force MS to shut down.

yeah, i said that. it's annoying to have to do it each and every time and it just started happening.

No no, I meant before quitting. Just alt tab out while you're still in game and force it to shut down before you quit the game.

Im having the same issue. Its annoying if you forget to alt-tab, or go to window mode first. Theres a thread on sleepywood about it too, where someones having the same issue. No reason behind it so far. Hes actually on vista SP1.
edit: im on XP 64 bit SP2 (there is no SP3 for 64 bit), but our XP media center PC downstairs, which has inferior hardware to this computer (and is on SP2, 32bit) still seems to be fine.
