Wow what the pineapple. I was training at Windraider's when a sin comes back from being AFK. He accuses me of using No Delay which doesn't make much sense, but then he goes to the top of the map. The monsters start moving really fast and everything seems really laggy. Buddy chat was working just fine, I'm sure. I started getting hit randomly, the monsters randomly started dying, I and saw a windraider fly at me when I was at the BOTTOM OF THE MAP where nothing spawns. Then it killed me down there! I couldn't use any skills or change channels while it was happening. I know for a fact this wasn't lag. It had to have been a hack.

I dont think it's a hack because if it was, that means the sin did it.

He might have said that to catch me off guard. I dunno, though. I'm still stuck on that it couldn't have been lag. Lag doesn't work like that, and believe me, I've lagged tons of times in my many years of mapling.

that's a hack, and there was a guy in khaini that was doing it with newts. it either kills you from damage or dc's you.

Not necessarily. I see people in Ariant PQ all the time, using no-delay and then calling other people hackers when they get bombed and stuff. Hackers will say whatever dumb pomegranate they can think of.

An exhacker friend of mine tells me it's common for them to do that so they look more legit. If you see someone ignoring an obvious hacker, you'll think something's wrong. If he seems extra-hateful on the hacker, nothing stands out so long his hacks are concealed well.
This ploy kind of breaks down when you're using something everyone can see though.... xD

No delay hack edits wz file and removes the attack animation AFAIK. Hence their clients will NOT show your attacking animation. That's why you get lots of no-delay hackers calling others "hacker" ironically, because they cannot see your attacking animation.

I understand what is going on now! I was in a party at the Windraiders when someone came in and accused the Hermit in our group of hacking. I know for a fact that is individual does not hack. The intruder started their hack and was intent on staying until we advised that we were reporting. I guess there are times when being in a trusted group comes in handy. All of us being in the same house, same room kinda helps with communication while playing.
He apologized and left!
