I have a tattoo in the right part of my back (my name in japanese katakana), and I'm thinking about getting another one.

So, do you have any tattoos? What do you think about them?

I like asian-style and cartoon like tattoos, as well like some abstract and geeky ideas. So... what's up?

I'm getting my first tattoo in a month. I'm getting it on my back and it's going to be either angel wings with my kids names somewhere on the wings or the Hebrew symbol for son with my kids names making up the outline of the symbol.

My friend Jim also started the outline to the Kraken on my right leg. I'll post a picture when it's done. There will be many more on the way afterwards. Smile

I see tattoos as a form of personal memoir. Get things you'll know you'll be able to see with a smile when you're older, or things that define who you are/will be. It's not like pretty designs aren't good, but I don't think they're as special as ones spawned of your own mind.

P.S. Will's Mythos design is wonderful. Big Grin

Don't yet, but plan on getting a rather large one on my back. Making a thread regarding it to ask for some help designing it, and hoping (if I can figure out exactly what I want) to get it done by Miami Ink if I can afford it (just moved to Miami Big Grin)

Basically, I want this -
A zipper going down my spine, with the top portion unzipped and splayed open. Skeleton is climbing out, with skull facing the back and hands/fingers positioned already out of the zipper. The zipper-pull will be oversized, but not so much that it looks ridiculous (I want the whole thing to look more cool than unique). Still trying to figure out exactly what the design means to me lol. Btw, much vodka would be involved in the time immediately prior to the tattooification.
