Soldiers - Kabanaw - 2009-02-14 Soldiers: a new job class. Their base is a new military outpost on Victoria Island, located between Perion and Ellinia. The fun thing about these classes is their primary stats are INT and STR. They use both MA and WA, so they have a unique damage formula. They fight by summoning weapons of different elements. Sub Classes: 2nd:Belligerent Sharpshooter 3rd: Disputant Yeoman 4th: Militant Deadeye Belligerents use Gauntlets, and Sharpshooters use Mitts (No other good synonyms for gloves :<). Belligerents summon swords, while Sharpshooters summon Bows and Crossbows. Belligerents, like Brawlers, get HP increase at 2nd job. Just the basic ideas for now, if you guys like I'll think up some skills :O Soldiers - JezzaRules - 2009-02-15 I see this class is pretty unique, mixed between warriors, magicians and bowmen. My advice? Try to add in skills that are unique, I doubt you're finished here so keep going. I look forward to more info in the future. Soldiers - silverquiver - 2009-02-17 When I think of a military, I usually think of guns. No rifles? I wanted to keep the idea of soldier as an older, middle-ages kind of soldier, which would be the infantry and the archers, but i wanted to use more fun names. Let's see, 1st job skills, mostly off the top of my head :O Basic Training: Increases the avoidability and accuracy. (Cliche :O) Max: 20 Level 1: +1 accuracy, +1 avoid Level 20:+20 accuracy, +20 avoid (Wow suprising) Improving max MP: Icreases the amount of MP gained on level up. (Important to these magic classes, ya know?) Max 10 Level 1: +1 max MP on level, +1 with AP Level 10: +10 max MP on level, +5 with AP Improving max HP: Increases the amount of HP gained on level up. Max: 10 Same stats as improving max MP but with HP instead I think this skill should be included because they're a mix between warriors and magicians, so they need decent HP. But since one is a range class, this skill is crucial since their HP increase per level goes down somewhat so they don't have preposterous amounts of HP. Armor: Adds on defense to the worn armor. Max: 20 Level 1: +2% weapon + magic defense, 10 seconds Level 20: +40% weapon + magic defense, 200 seconds This skill can be kind of useful, it reduces maybe a few hundred damage when the player is at high levels. It's really just because I can't think of anything else ;P Summon Sword: Summons a sword for a quick attack. Must be wearing a Gauntlet to use. (The Belligerent's first attack skill lots of fun, right? Also, the sword is only around for an attack and looks like the beginner sword made of light) Max: 20 Level 1: 112% damage Level 20:280% damage Summon Bow: Summons a bow and quickly shoots off two summoned arrows. Can only be used with a Mitt. (The first attack for the Sharpshooter. The Bow looks like a level 10 bow made of light, and the arrows are just shiny arrows.) Level 1:100% damage per arrow Level 20: 140% damage per arrow Both the skills are equal in damage, the bow is a little more stable. But ranged classes seem to have more stable damage in general, anyway. I think I'll do the second job for the Belligerent next. Soldiers - Dusk - 2009-02-17 Interesting. Using both MA and WA is kind of confusing. I don't really like the idea of summoning weapons, especially since the weapons are just extensions of weapons that already exist in the game

But instead of putting an element on it, it makes a whole new weapon. Soldiers - Kabanaw - 2009-02-19 Since no one is posting, bump with belligerent skills :< Gauntlet Mastery Increases the mastery on the Gauntlet. Max: 20 Level 1: 15% mastery, +1 accuracy Level 20: 60% mastery, +20 accuracy Gauntlet Booster: Same as every other weapon booster in the game :/ Magic Sword: Makes a sword out of surrounding energy and keeps it solidified. Max: 30 Level 1: Sword summoned for 10 seconds, 101% attack Level 30: Sword summoned for 300 seconds, 115% attack You can use Summon sword with this, attack % on the sword is like the charge on Paladins Sword Smash: Uses the summoned sword to attack up to three monsters. Max: 30 Level 1: 103% attack, one monster Level 30: 200% attack, three monsters Power Spirit: Increases the magic attack and weapon attack of the whole party. Max: 20 Level 1: +1 Weapon attack, +1 magic attack Level 20: +8 Weapon attack, +15 Magic Attack Essentially a mix between rage and meditation, just not as good as either. Spirit Armor: Uses some MP to protect HP Max: 20 Level 1: 11% of damage is converted to MP Level 20: 30% of damage is converted to MP It's a nerfed magic gaurd since Belligerents already have decent HP. Soldiers - Teppi - 2009-02-20 very unique...considering using both str and int (which is actually true in military) and the whole summoning swords and stuffs hope nexon recognizes this |
