Best way to go? Brandish vs AC? - MaxHudson - 2009-02-11
Just got a quick question. But alittle more advance for the ask a warrior thread so I thought I'd make a thread for it.
I'm not sure how Combo affects my damage and such so here I do.
Should I get brandish to 21 and then max AC? What would give the highest damage boost? Should I max Brandish? or should I add 2 Brandish 1 AC. Just somthing thats been confusion me for awhile. If somone answers this please explain how the best way is the best?

In a nutshell, level 30 AC would give you a 190% boost instead of 1 AC, which gives you 145%.
Here are two possible skill builds you have at 130:
Brandish 21, AC 11ish (assuming you put 1 into Rush)
or
Brandish 30, AC 2
Brandish 21 is 224%*2, with AC 11 giving a boost of 159%, giving a total damage per Brandish of 712.32%
Brandish 30 with AC 2 gives 260%*2 with 146% boost, or 759.2%
So max Brandish first, basically.

Well, leaving Brandish at level 1 isn't gonna help......so.
Anyways, just go 2 Brandish, 1 AC every time you level. 21 Brandish seems like a good threshhold to me before dumping your SP you earned in later levels into AC.

If you can get the Brandish books, just get it maxed first (with 1 point in A.Combo for the extra orb)
It takes until 21 to hit 3 targets, you want that to be sooner than later =x Plus Brandish's per point boost is always higher.

Anyone should be able to get both Brandish mastery books now. Haha They're incredibly cheap and common.

this is bad advice coming from someone who isnt a hero...
as stereo and felix said, max brandish first because it gives a higher per point increase.
if you are ever in the situation where you gain 2 levels at once and so have 6 spare points, get to the next orb in AC. you deal more % by several points when you have the option of dumping 6 points, if you get the jump to another orb. it really is insignificant though, since you wont be skipping any levels at 125+ unless youre a stupid leecher.

With Brandish 30 cheap now, i'd say max it ASAP, since they are very easy to buy.

That being said I'll go with maxing Brandish. And yeah I've got the book to work, took 3 trys. But atleast its cheap now. Thanks for the help everyone.

i pointed that at the stupid leechers
15% in 12x at goby takes quite a while :/
