Do you think the developers/publishers should find out who is abusing glitches? - Greaper - 2009-02-02 Although the glitch has been fixed, there is still many people complaining about this glitch The glitch(although i do not know alot),can make a person earn 10m in just mins(around 10mins-30mins),therefore there is many RICH guys in MSEA do u think AsiaSoft/Nexon/Wizet has the responsibility to find out who is abusing the glitch? and this is not the first time AsiaSoft/Nexon/Wizet has made such a mistake for MSEA(i know the recent case in KMS) MSEA has a previous glitch case whereby many people can level up quickly and at the same time earn money from the jar quest and they simply just removed the quest and did not even take any actions other than that and to think that they claimed that they wanted to provide good and a fair community........ so do u think it is fair for those who did not abuse the glitch?(This includes other servers as well, exclude test servers of course) Do you think the developers/publishers should find out who is abusing glitches? - Link - 2009-02-02 Yes, they should do their part in finding out who's doing it and try to stop it and punish the abusers. However, there is only so much that one group of people can do while managing millions of players at a time. It's a lot harder to do these things than you think. Do you think the developers/publishers should find out who is abusing glitches? - Conserver - 2009-02-02 AsiaSoft/Nexon/Wizet would not care much unless it is concerned about $$$ if there is a glitch whereby a person can get free cash easily or at a fast rate, you will see immediately,'Urgent Server Check/Maintenance', if you see the glitch whereby a person can gain mesos, like the glitch you mention.......it takes longer.........Patch on 28/1, 2/2 then fix my point is that as long as a problem concerns real life money for YOURSELF which will affect your life if you do not have it,people will want to fix it at the fastest possible time if things that concerns a fake thing or something like in-game money, people will not care since it is only a game and people will eventually quit someday Do you think the developers/publishers should find out who is abusing glitches? - Lozmaster - 2009-02-02 Conserver Wrote:if there is a glitch whereby a person can get free cash easily or at a fast rate, you will see immediately,'Urgent Server Check/Maintenance', You mean like how we had maple weapons dropping every 3 or so kills of a cake last year, which got fixed within about an hour? Hang on a moment, the above isn't always true. No one would vote for "hey it's the glitcher's right to glitch", but if you worded it more neutrally, (ex. "No, glitchers should be left alone.") And I voted "neutral" because I don't think all glitches should be banned for. Should I be banned for chair jumping? Personally, I think a better solution would be a rollback. It's less labor intensive (you don't have to go through and find everyone), more accurate (no risk of making the mistake of punishing someone that was actually innocent, with a ban), and would deter glitching in the future almost as effectively as bans would. Should I be banned for chair jumping? From what I get from the ToS, glitching is playing the game in a manner that is not intended by the creators in an abusive way which is profitable. Do you think the developers/publishers should find out who is abusing glitches? - Kirov - 2009-02-02 Mass banning glitchers usually ends up with lots of innocent people getting banned as well. And with that a bunch of BSers pretending they didn't use whatever glitch for whatever Do you think the developers/publishers should find out who is abusing glitches? - Kirov - 2009-02-02 Yeah and it is usually a temp ban since they can't be 100% sure of who did what. I would be more interested if they tried to tighten things up and try and stop these glitches in the first place. It seems they don't learn from their mistakes and repeat similar glitches over and over. Do you think the developers/publishers should find out who is abusing glitches? - Sn1perJohnE - 2009-02-02 some glitches do need to be fixed, such as the money ones, as well as quick lvling ones, but ones like the MB, shadow web, and poison on event bosses with upsurd amounts of hp should be allowed, as it lessens the time to kill these bosses. Do you think the developers/publishers should find out who is abusing glitches? - Eos - 2009-02-02 The time period was so insignificant it should be an immediate pause and rollback while there hasn't been enough progression of time to actually impact anyone except the abusers. A few hours to a one day loss is almost irrelevant and easily caught back up. The longer they wait to take action the more the occurs that will un-occur and the more unfair to the whole world a rollback becomes. A ban by itself wouldn't resolve this issue because mesos can be washed through dozens of accounts in a blink, or used to purchase items which are then passed and resold. Even with proper tracking on every transaction it'd take forever to find who was guilty of what - rollback, apply fix, problem solved. |
