New Character Creation? - Spiral - 2009-02-01
Hey everyone.
I decided to start up a cleric...because it's easier than my gunslinger and I can earn some money. But the character creation is totally weird. There are no dice to roll...and when you get to Maple Island your stats are all whacked up and they tell you to use STR and Dex. Should I just add points into INT and Luk and then will they reset my other stats to 4/4? NEXON America has not made an update on the MapleGlobal website...anyone have any clue what to do?

Just pump str while on the island.
Once you get to level 8, you can warp yourself to Ellinia using a quest from the maple admin. Once you become a Magician, your stats reset to 4/4/intrequiredtobecomemagician/4.

I'd just pump int all the way... 12 str is enough to get you off island at level 8... and you won't lose out on as much MP, unless you don't feel that much MP is worth it. Since 7 levels X 5 int per level is like 35 int, you gain a few more MP/ level ish. Not really that important tho xD
