I finished all the pre-req quests (according to Hidden Street), but the quest doesn't show up as available. I've heard stuff like "There's a second part to Cleaning Up the Streets" and "It's glitched", but no real proof. Halp?

Urban Warrior - Cyadd - 2009-01-29

Are you level 50?

Urban Warrior - IsaacGS - 2009-01-29

Are you a Pirate? I think Nexon messed up with the Pirate version of Cleaning up the Streets and it doesn't count for the quest.

Blah. No wonder. D:

Thanks though.

I'm a pirate, and i received my chair just fine, even when the Cleaning Up The Streets reward was nerfed.

Orly?

I just finished it recently (~1 week ago?), so I don't know if that makes a difference. Level 51, by the way.

That's why it doesn't work any more. When they made it give a better reward, they gave it a different quest ID. When the game checks for the Urban Warrior quest, it doesn't look for the Pirate version's quest ID, it checks for the original version's ID. Thus, the Pirate version doesn't count towards Urban Warrior.

Nexon - Gives with one hand, takes away with the other..

Urban Warrior - Joe - 2009-02-01

Luckily, I had activated the original quest on my pirate, and killed the monsters, but hadn't turned it in hoping Nexon would fix the reward someday. When they added the pirate version, i noticed i had that in Available, but still had the other one in Progress, so i was able to finish both, and get the chair.

Urban Warrior - Shirobon - 2009-02-01

Does this mean Pirates will never be able to get the chair?

Urban Warrior - Kirov - 2009-02-01

Well I would imagine they will fix it, eventually. But Nexon are a bit hit and miss on that. Some things they fix fast others, well you can see from some of the threads around here. Biggrin

i finished the original and got the chair before the new cleaning up the streets. maybe thats why i can get the chair

Exactly. A lot of mules that islanders had were able to do the work glove quest after they removed the pre-requisite hat quest from Sera. They finally removed the quest from the data this past fall, I believe. Same thing as this though.
