The Abridged Guide to iTCG Items [Forging and Beyond!] - Smooth Criminal - 2009-01-28
All right guys, Viper gave me the thumbs-up to continue on as he won't be able to make many updates. I've decided to continue on with compiling the information for the combos needed to form iTCG items, which Set gives what items, where to get everything related to iTCG, upgrading items obtained already via code, and more!
I am happily preparing for iTCG Set 6 . On the other hand, would anyone be interested in the effects of all the iTCG-exclusive pots; as well as the stats of T-1337's pots?
Fundamental Basics of iTCG Set 1 and 2
This pertains to: Foxwit and Jack Barricade.
If you're looking for the space-themed weapons, go see the section on Glimmer Man- it explains everything you need to do.
If you're looking for the Bosshunter equips, go see the section on those.
Q: How do I forge my desired item?
1. Check this thread under all of the manual-giving NPCs for the item you want and how to make it.
2. Talk to that NPC and present him your items for the desired equipment/weapon(s). You should now have a manual in your inventory that is untradeable.
3. Go to Omega Sector and talk to Spindle.
4. Give him the items he asks for to make the weapon (which are all conveniently on this thread so you don't have to make back and forth trips to Omega Sector). Then you should have your fancy new equipment and weapons.
Q: I have the manual and items, why won't the NPC who gave me the manual give it to me?!
That is because the NPC who gives you the manual doesn't make it. Spindle in Omega Sector makes it; like the NPC said.
Q: Where is Spindle in Omega Sector; I'm too lazy to look
Spindle is nearby Agent Marco and under the arch structure

The Glimmer Man
For weapons, you must obtain a Materia Orb with a White Versal Materia + 7 Black Crystals. Then just give the Orb to Spindle and get a weapon of your choosing. Synthesis information:
All The Bosshunter equips are forged from John Barricade. As you're going to notice, they all require the "Ancient *insert name of your desired equip here*" ETC version in addition to the Ridley's Book of Rituals ETC in addition to a combo of boss ETCs; I'm not quite sure what triggers the quest to forge em; probably the Ancient version of the equip in ETC form; I suppose.
Warrior, Bowman
Bosshunter Helmet
Stat/Level Requirements: Level 70 Equip Stats: +3 STR , +3 DEX, +8 ACC, +100 HP, +75 W.DEF, +20 M.DEF, 7 Slots Synthesis: Ridley's Book of Rituals+Ancient Helm+Ergoth Jawbone+Tengu Nose
The Set 3 items are definitely easy to figure out since the NPC directly tells you what you need. Okay, according to what the Corine says, you have to start with the Level 10 weapons; which come from the code already made for you. In order to upgrade the weapons, you must go through "Spirit Quests" which require Spirit feathers. A KEY REQUIREMENT IS YOUR PET'S LEVEL. In order to rank your weapon to having the "-suma" prefix, your pet must be Level 15; and to get "-magna" prefix, it must be Level 30.
-Suma = Level 40, Pet Level 15,
-Magna = Level 80, Pet Level 30
NOTE: For the rule behind T-1337, go to his section. It gives a link about how it works.
Similar to Corine from iTCG Set 3, you basically need to find the equipment through an iTCG Code and can be upgraded to higher leveled versions of them Luckily, the upgrades require no subsequent iTCG code items at all, but rather, you'll need to do some hunt for drops in the Prendergast Mansion.
For your convenience, here's the drop tables for which monster drops what:
When upgrading, Stirgeman has the probability of upgrading or downgrading your Stirgeman equip to any random "Level" of it or completely destroying it.
For the first time you upgrade your Stirge equips, he requires the following:
The Requirements for the First Time You Upgrade
Synthesis: 8 Stretchy Material+ 8 Wads of Gum + 15 Loaded Springs + 20 Screws
Here's Isaac's theory on how upgrading, destroying, and downgrading works.
IsaacGS Wrote:No one knows the exact rates, he doesn't tell you. How the upgrade process seems to work is that it's only destroyed if it's downgraded to a nonexistent level. for example, completely made up numbers

So, if the numbers are like that. Let's say you have a first level item that you just got from the code. That means you have a 37.75% chance of destroying it right off the bat. However, if you already have one that's level 6 or something, then you'd have to get -7 or -8 to destroy it, and that's extremely unlikely.
This is how I think it works, based on my experiences with it. the numbers are likely very different, but this should give you an idea.
Surpsingly, the next times you upgrade, it's pretty straightforward:
Subsequent Upgrade Synthesis Requirements
Amazingly, it's simply the previous items needed for the first upgrade EXCEPT, it'd appear that Screws aren't used anymore.
When you have one of these lovely ETCs in your inventory, Ridley (His statue, of course) will be able to talk to you having it in possession. Give him either a Bigfoot Toe, Tengu Nose, Jack O' Lantern, Papalatus Curl, Balrog Claw, Ergoth Jaw, or Pianus scale, and he'll reward you in the sense of a "super gacha"- taking away your stone and boss ETC. Very nice stuff [].

Adonis iTCG Set 5- Stone Denaris and Forging Included
The best guide I've got at the moment while I don't quite have the stats updated. The NPC also gives instructions in game, so I suppose I'll just screenshot those for convinience. http://www.southperry.net/forums/showthread.php?t=7049 - Hendrix's guide to Adonis's Items
Stone Denaris
If you find one of these, hand it to Adonis. He then exchanges it for a random item. A majority of results aren't even that great.
I warned you!~

Fiel- for the images
Throws, for screen shots and telling me who drops the items.
Many people on Sleepywood.net, who contributed to the original; but mostly Zenkat- for the combinations and synthesis of the early ones; and Emanon- for Ridley Stone and Stone Denari rewards.
Viper, for taking the thread here and fixing the format a bit.

Assuming you wanted it here, you are missing the Taru Spirit Cape from iTCG set 3 (i believe it comes from codes, so you might not want it , but eh, every other equip is on there, and I think it should be for completions sake)

Yeah, I'm gonna couple it in the section where I want to put the pots and equips that directly come from codes. I also forgot to put credit where credit is due XD! Sorry!
