What will be unavailable:
  • All MapleStory game servers.
  • Website login and the billing system will be unavailable from:
    • PDT: 5:00 AM – 8:30 AM
    • EDT: 8:00 AM – 11:30 AM
    • CEST: 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM
    • AEST: 10:00 PM - 1:30 AM (May 12)
    • During that time you will not be able to purchase NX or view previous purchases.
Changes and Updates:
  • MapleStory will be updated to v.185. Check out the patch notes coming soon!
  • Apply Windows updates to the game servers.
  • The Honey Bee Chat Ring will no longer incorrectly state that it will expire after 30 days.
  • The animation for the Black Force Shield will be fixed.
  • Using the Pom Pom Pink Bean Chair with the Sparkling Face will no longer cause the character's face to disappear.
  • The mini-map portals for the Shinsoo International School Hallway will appear in their proper places.
  • The 'Thursday the 12th' title will now properly display the number 12.

Figured as much.
They haven't even brought the servers up yet for internal sanity checks (or if they did, it was for very brief periods. Every time I looked at the status page, it was all red).
Wonder what they broke.

As you can see, I have no EXP buffs up, and I don't have any CS cards running either, so I have no idea where this "Buff Bonus EXP" is coming from, or why it's giving so much, but I guess grind/boss while you can in case it's a bug?

Based on Reddit and me testing, it seems like some buffs (a lot of them, actually), are giving like +100% bonus exp each. Or at least, it's somehow based on the number of buffs you have, while some buffs count and others don't.

Did this update change some of the orange tags that appear below the name of an item. I saw "Untradable Once Equipped" instead of the usual "Trade disabled when equipped". Any more?

Account tradeable is now "Transferable Within Account" and account tradeable once is now "Tradeable once within account"
