Hi guys, as you may know, today is the 1st day of the 7th day market. Some people might be saying that the stuff they sell is crap, but to tell you the truth, it sort of works like the stock market. On Monday thru Saturday, after you buy something, you can sell it to Abdula. The catch is that the price for a certain amount of that item fluctuates like the stock market. so depending on what you sell and when, you can end up way way richer than what you were before, or get bad luck and get the same or less than before. so it's pretty much based on timing and quantity. I hope this helps you guys understand a little bit more about the 7th day market. Happy Mapling.

We all know about the 7th day market. This belongs in the Amherst section for the few people who are unfamiliar

Think twice before making a post as if it was ground breaking information on Southperry. Most of the times you were already beaten to it.

Well, I might as well use this thread to ask a question instead of making a new thread. Can people invest a significant amount of money (at least 100mil) into this? I basically want to know whether or not it'll be possible for people to make massive loads of mesos off this and whether or not it'll affect the economy.

7th Day Market - Shidoshi - 2009-01-25

well, possibly. There is an item that costs like 50k. We just need to know if the items are stackable and how much does the price fluctuate.

7th Day Market - Kaasoljoyyx - 2009-01-25

1 item per slot, check .wz

wtp? which item costs 50k? the most expensive thing i know is the taxidermy shark which costs 10k...O.o maybe it depends on the server?

you cant really invest that much money into it and you wouldnt make that much. IMO, it sucks.

You can only buy as many items as you have open slots in your Set-Up inventory. Also, they do not stack, requiring you to basically choose one item for the week, fill up the inventory, and then stalk Abdullah every hour to see if you made any profit. I do not expect a massive meso gain as the items are ranging from 500-10000 mesos when you buy them.

Kinda disappointed, but at least it mite get rid of the "mesos plz" noobs.

7th Day Market - Sn1perJohnE - 2009-01-25

the prices fluctuate, and i dont know if its linked to the amount being bought or just predetermined.

They are meant to change every hour. Haven’t really checked myself, the whole 7 day market thing doesn't interest me much. I just went there to get the egg.

It's most likely like animal crossing. The prices just change randomly, maybe there's a pattern but no way to predict the exact meso amount at any given time.

It's the simplest buy low sell high method for mesos. Merchanting > this though so this is beneficial for low levels or new servers.

This morning when I found out it was 1 Item per slot, I was greatly disappointed.

This can only make you avrge ~30k a week. And seeing as there is only 52 weeks in a year (If my elementary memory is correct), You can't really make alot of money.

Abdula doesn't buy drastically overprice or anything.

You can get a benefit over 15k on each crow feather hat, if timed properly. I bought for 9.5k, and saw it sell for 27k once, before this sunday.

7th Day Market - darksyte - 2009-01-26

are the prices that the items were sold in the 7 day market the same across the board? because i cant remember what i bought them at T-T

They change every hour. For buying and for selling.

7th Day Market - Alloy - 2009-01-28

IMPORTANT POST. Crow feather hats are being bought for 27k this hour. GO SELL THEM. You have less than 15 minutes for that.

EDIT: ok, too late for that now... Sad

7th Day Market - Kirov - 2009-01-28

So I guess crow feather hats are what you should invest in if you have the patience to check every hour?

7th Day Market - karashi - 2009-01-28

what about the taxidermy shark? i once sold them for 30k (close) IIRC
granted i didnt constantly check the price...

7th Day Market - Kirov - 2009-01-28

So the shark is the best to buy then? I have seen them being sold for 100k in the FM but I assumed that was just some idiot who didn't know what it was.
