Pacific: 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Eastern: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM


What will be unavailable:
  • All MapleStory game servers.
Changes and Updates:
  • The new chat channels will now be available.
  • An issue will be fixed where players were unable to finish the Fishing tutorial if they were disconnected or had entered the Cash Shop.
  • Star Planet quest notifiers will no longer appear above the character.
  • A text error in the opening quest for Mushroom Shrine Tales will be fixed.
  • The mini-map for the Graveyard in the Haunted Mansion will be properly translated.
  • The Zombie Damage Skin will display properly when stored.
  • Various text issues in Afterlands will be fixed.*
  • Regional IP blocks have been reapplied for certain regions that were incorrectly opened.*
  • The NPC Mr. Lee has been removed from the Event Hall to address recent latency issues.*

Oh yes, I'm sure Mr. Lee is the sole cause of all the Event Hall lag.

Does anyone even bother with Mr. Lee's anything anymore? It came out and it was way too good, it got nerfed and I never touched it afterwards.

It still gives out the Widerness Hunter's Buff, which is a half-hour Onyx Apple. I know several people who run Dojo with it. Maybe even bosses.
It also gives really nice trait boosts, an average of 200 to every trait per day.
And the perma, tradeable, mounts.

Not amazing exp anymore, but as Maple mini-dungeons go, it's decent.

They didn't say they moved him anywhere, just that he was removed from Event Hall.

My guess is that they'll never put him back, nor put in an alternate method to get to his Airlines (like put the airport in the Dimensional Mirror). And if anyone asks, they'll once again cite "only 1% used it" as justification, if they answer at all.

Fixed. Sorry about that.

And I am on par with SaptaZapta about Nexon removing the Mr. Lee content.

Even the quest(auto move) notification are gone for now.




Edit : NVM. We still do get quest notification.

But quest notification only arrive daily, when player have successfully escaped the island using mount.
So if you d/c or abandon the content before escape, you will no longer receive the notification.
However even if you d/c, you will be returned to beginning map and can attempt another run next day when it resets.
(But careful that you do not leave the map until then or else you won't able to re-attempt.)

Also with current server problem, I highly doubt it we can even do it normally.
