I wonder whether the same issue is what's been causing the insane lag all last week, too.

Where did those server crashes come from anyway ? I thought duping through server crash was no longer possible, or is that wrong?

Idk, but I was training my Jett level 17, then I dced and came back level 14. Hothead

Must be some bugs in the mystic gate event causing the server instability, since it never lags during the weekdays. (with the exception of friday after the maintenance)
