iTCG item failure - PieM4ster - 2009-01-08

Someone told me that certain iTCG items have a failure chance when crafting them (as in you lose all the materials and get no item).
After about 15 different searches I found no evidence to support his point. So can you fail an iTCG item craft? thanks.

I've made set 1, 2, and 3 items just fine. Nothing was destroyed, etc. I think you're thinking of the newer sets.

I'm not thinking of anything, this is what someone tried to tell me. Thank you very much for your input.

set 5 iTCG upgrading has a chance of failure. The NPC Adonis even says so =P

I suspect that the Crystal Blade has a high failure rate though o.O

Set 5 forges sometimes dont work. you get a nifty 150k for your really expensive materials and your super rare zak diamond tho! Glitter

The basic items can't come out failed. However, if you try to upgrade Stirgeman items, they may get destroyed, and the same applies to those from Set 5 through Adonis. I think this was a horrible move on Nexon's part, the odds of getting a worthwhile item are quite low, and the quality of the items in set 3-5 have gone down considerably. This readily explains why these sets have been far less prevalent than the first 2, and seemingly why they sell less.
