Wait.

EA of all companies still supported online on a PS2 game? Well, from the company that barely supports it's yearly sports titles very long once the new yearly entry comes out, good on them for that one at least.

Still, who cares about EAs server going offline, this pomegranate is the same reason Nintendos are going off for all wii/ds games, and that's a much bigger loss. At least EA has an equivalent newer title for virtually everything

Gamespy ID supported the online play, most of those games, although with sequels are much worse than the ones going away

I don't buy their excuse. "It's just too hard!"

Any game that people are still interested in will have a community solution in a month, if not less, probably closer to a week. I highly doubt any of those games are so built around GameSpy that they can't possibly be saved. EA just doesn't feel like doing it.
