AIM lag - Hazzy - 2009-01-05 I type something, press enter, and it freezes. After 10~20 seconds, I've clocked from the messages, it unfreezes and works fine for a message or two from me. It's really annoying... Dx Any way to fix this? *Everything else works fine, so it's not a cluttered computer* AIM lag - Takebacker - 2009-01-06 I don't remember AIM being noted for it's amazing client speed. Get skype, or pidgin. Note: Pidgin is amazing. MSN, AIM, and a few more others all in one program = secks. Requires linux though
AIM lag - Lyssa - 2009-01-06 Pidgin is available for Windows o_o http://www.pidgin.im/download/windows/ as well as a few other platforms. My suggestion, aside from getting a new client (I didn't like AIM much til AIM 6 was released and I still don't use it at home) would be to try uninstalling and reinstalling AIM to see if that improves things. If you can, perhaps try on another account as well? ~Lyssa AIM lag - Rob - 2009-01-06 Multiple messaging client are the way to go. So much rage. |
