AIM lag - Hazzy - 2009-01-05

I type something, press enter, and it freezes. After 10~20 seconds, I've clocked from the messages, it unfreezes and works fine for a message or two from me. It's really annoying... Dx
Any way to fix this?

*Everything else works fine, so it's not a cluttered computer*

I don't remember AIM being noted for it's amazing client speed.

Get skype, or pidgin. Note: Pidgin is amazing. MSN, AIM, and a few more others all in one program = secks. Requires linux though Wink

[COLOR="Indigo"]Pidgin is available for Windows o_o

as well as a few other platforms. My suggestion, aside from getting a new client (I didn't like AIM much til AIM 6 was released and I still don't use it at home) would be to try uninstalling and reinstalling AIM to see if that improves things. If you can, perhaps try on another account as well?

I'd tell you to get MSN, but even MSN is being a papaya lately with it's "This message cannot be sent to all recipients" messages.

So much rage.
