Night Walker Videos...? - Hazzy - 2009-01-02

I've searched Youtube and Google. Dozens from the other classes, but only one (although edited differently) video on Night Walker. :f6:
Found a Thread on Maple Tip saying it's "the largest disappointment of the Knights of Cygnus". Why? :f6: And does anyone know of a NightWalker video other than http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sDJZCtlrU_s?

"The URL contained a malformed video ID."

Wait what?

I haven't seen any nightwalker videos either.

Night Walker Videos...? - IsaacGS - 2009-01-02

most of the english players haven't been making nightwalkers because we're unfunded, I can tell you that much. There are one or two however.

But yeah they kinda suck anyway, vampire's not a great skill. Other than that it's basically the same as a regular hermit. >_>

I found a video somewhere of a nightwalker spamming the ranged poison mist around dragon canyon. It looked like extremely efficient training, especially since they also have flash jump. I don't remember where it is, but I could probably dig it up for you and upload it to youtube if you want.

:O
Yes please. I was wondering about doing something like that.

The "offical" video has it doing 800 to the Birks, exactly 2.5% of their total HP. That's just as much as Mist. Big Grin

The skill description says "80% probability"... but what is it of?

The 80% probability is the probility of the monsters in the cloud getting poisoned. The probability activates every second. The skill is basically a carbon copy of gunslingers' bomb and F/P mages' poison mist pasted on top of each other. It's really a shame that Nexon couldn't think of anything creative for these Cygnus classes, and nightwalker seemed to have been hit hardest. Well, at least it isn't a totally complete copy of poison mist like that flame wizard skill is... there are literally no differences between mist and the flame wizard version >_>

Anyways, I hope this is what you're looking for:

Quintuple channel newties anyone?

Night Walker Videos...? - Mashi - 2009-01-03

I'll be happy to make one soon. Just that my Fraps errors up.

Sorry for offtop but on this video is a weird entrance on the map which we don't have what is that? Anyone know?

probably leads to a mini-dungeon

2 Channels? Is that KMST? And that cave at Skeles, I think its a Mini-Dungeon.

I just think Night Walkers lack when compared to the other Cygnus jobs. I think they are only good for people that don't want to or can't get a NL over 120. Or if they want an easy time getting Lv 12 blessing for their main.

I am surprised there haven't been more high levelled KMST vids posted. They are probably floating around somewhere.

Wow, he barely has to move. Just charge and launch. xD

To me, Night Walkers seem to be a mix of NL and F/P mages: Great Bossers and Great Grinders. Be interesting to see how they turn out in the actual game. :f6:

Oh wow. That vid completely changed my opinion on NWs. O_O

Apparently their sprite is useful too because it poisons things too...

Night Walker Videos...? - Loose - 2009-01-03

I think this is what I'm making. I love poison.

It does? :f6:
At what rate? I've used it a little, but I've seen no poison. D: It's still level 1 though, so meh.

I was just guessing. :/ If it does, meh. If not, meh.

Think i'll make this as well, despite my *cough* negative posts about it earlier. Everyone thought gunslingers were weak before my insight, lets hope night walkers are the same.

Night Walker Videos...? - Shidoshi - 2009-01-03

I'll probably end up making one that can share equips with my normal characters... Though using that poison bomb doesn't really require godly equips and i could train to 120 on jr newties on that map =D

Night Walker Videos...? - Cyanne - 2009-01-03

The sprite seems to just damage monsters, which is still extremely useful for misting because it helps finish off 1hp monsters.

Nightwalkers seem to be made for leeching >_> You can start leeching by spewing those mists across newtie/skelegon maps starting from level 70 while sitting at a safe spot and taking no damage at all. You'd need to get doored up since you'll die in one hits though.

Uhh...i wouldn't do it at 70. O_O PB sucks at the early levels, just like mist. Just stick to vampire i guess.

Actually, even shadow web would be much better than PB until maxed.

Night Walker Videos...? - Cyanne - 2009-01-03

I was talking about leeching, like from an archmage/bishop. The range of the mist is the same at level 1 as when maxed.
