Lucky Lucky Monstory event - Thiefy - 2014-02-25
Did you have to be on during the draw in order to receive the prize?
The draw held in 6 pm (4 am for me), and the reset is 12 pm (10 am for me), so I wasn't on during this time.
When I logged in today, I couldn't see the winning cards, it already had next week's date in it.

You didn't have to be on during the draw, but you had to check for a win before midnight Monday. Six hours.
Quite the ridiculously designed event, but it goes along with the new Hot Day time window to prove that Nexon has forgotten it has customers outside America, and that even Americans might have lives outside of Maple.

Do we only collect our cards once and the winning cards are just refreshed weekly? I thought we had to collect them all over again but my cards all remained from last week.

Nope, just checked this out.
It showed my last week's cards JUST until I collected another card.
Now all my week is empty except for this 1 card that I have collected.
The problem is I didn't receive any quest/reward for the last week.. :|

So if I don't hunt anything for a week I'll be fine?
You'd probably have only gotten 10 power elixirs anyway, so I wouldn't worry. Haven't heard of anyone that got anything better yet.

The cards from Monday remained (presumably moved from the rightmost Monday to the leftmost, but I didn't keep track so can't be sure). The rest of the week is blank for me (except Tuesday, which I collected anew).

Well, if anyone was wondering, I didn't loot any monstory cards all week and my card deck is still completely full (didn't reset from last week), I'll edit my post tomorrow morning if the draw actually works or not.

I quit that event all together because I don't feel like grinding alot every day to only receive elixirs, I know there should be a tyrant as a prize somewhere but I'd rather play less and enjoy the game rather than make playing every day feel like a chore (which is grinding for monstory cards).

I've dealt with some shitty events in my time playing this game, but this is by far one of the worst. Forgive my Americanized comparison, but for this reference, i am going to call the purple cards "powerball numbers" (boss ones)
You aren't even guaranteed to get a "powerball card" in a card line, so that means you wasted a line, so if the lucky drawing happens to have a "powerball" monster in it, you are really royally fucked. Cmon now, this shouldnt even be an event, nexon should just cut the middleman out and just allow us to "buy" tickets instead of bloating the game with laggy drops and crushed dreams.
