Project melee online thread - Takebacker - 2014-02-10 Hypermug; made me aware of the existence of P:M on dolphin so people can play online on their computers, so this thread is to bring everyone who plays this way online and to enlighten people who, like me, didn't know this existed. This thread shows you how to set it up. The only thing that isn't provided is the NTSC ISO of brawl, which can be torrented through the use of google. It's recommended you buy a gamecube controller USB adapter for the most comfortable of matches. raizoo; KhainiWest; Once i get the adapter i'll be good to go. Also the online apparently lags if you're not in the same region as your opponent, so post your region info. Project melee online thread - Zelkova - 2014-02-10 I couldn't think of a more opportune moment for SP to have a private VPN. Project melee online thread - Dudewitbow - 2014-02-10 This is something im willing to try out. I dont know how well my slow internet will work on netplay though Project melee online thread - KhainiWest - 2014-02-10 It might just be me but the controls don't feel as...responsive as they should, so just a little forewarning there for you
Project melee online thread - JoeTang - 2014-02-10 pomegranate you guys are slow. Project melee online thread - Hypermug - 2014-02-10 Thank you very much Takebacker KhainiWest Wrote:It might just be me but the controls don't feel as...responsive as they should, so just a little forewarning there for you Online or no? After tweaking the controls and options, my Dolphin has little to no control lag. Project melee online thread - Takebacker - 2014-02-13 I made the ISO last night and i ordered the adapter just now. Should have it early next week or something. Game is pretty smooth although impossible to do anything technical without the adapter. The music kind of lags and such at the character select screen but i'm going to make another ISO on my stronger computer and it should be fine. KhainiWest Wrote:It might just be me but the controls don't feel as...responsive as they should, so just a little forewarning there for you Seems like it's going to be better than regular brawl/P:M online though Edit: My adapter came in the mail today. Who wants to play? Same as the forum, Hypermug Project melee online thread - chrome - 2014-02-25 I downloaded this today. Unfortunately I don't play it on Dolphin, but it's a hell of a lot more fun than Brawl. I mained Sheik in Melee and I plan on maining Sheik here--she and Roy are all I've really been practicing. Project melee online thread - Takebacker - 2014-02-25 chrome Wrote:I downloaded this today. Unfortunately I don't play it on Dolphin, but it's a hell of a lot more fun than Brawl. Get into the idea of switching between shiek and zelda. Zelda is insanely OP and shiek has always been known as being a "no bulls'hit" character (aka the character that everyone knows that everyone goes to when they don't want to deal with new character gimmicks) so if you are proficient enough to switch and utilize the two at the right times you'll be very well off. |
