Hi, I'm oOCielOo - oOCielOo - 2014-01-29
(I guess I'll use this basic intro before making a normal post below it..)
I'm new to Southperry and here's some info about myself.
Name: Ciel (Real name I won't disclose yet.)
Age: 27 (almost 28)
Location: Eastern Canada
When I started playing Maple & what server: November '2005, Bera.
Other Games I play: A variety of console games and games on the PC.
Where I heard about SP: Main MapleStory forums, Basilmarket.. a long time ago.
Reason for Registering: I'm surprised I haven't registered ages ago. I figured it was about time.
Three interesting facts about me are:
1) Uhh.. don't kill me but I'm a Basilmarket moderator and MapleStory main forum Volunteer..?
2) I guess you can say I'm a MapleStory veteran?
3) I'm a massive gamer, mainly with RPGs.
*sigh* I'm not really one for introductory threads, but I guess here goes..
Hello everyone, Ciel here. Some of you might recognize me from previous places.. nice to see you. And those who don't know me, nice to meet you. I hope we'll all get along well. I hope you don't mind my being a member here now, I know some of you may not like me very much and may dread my joining here. But I promise not to get in the way or be of inconvenience. I'll probably be mainly a lurker but still post from time to time during my stay here. Perhaps engage with some of the members here, and hear about anything people want to say about the game. Any concerns.. ideas, you know the stuff. Or really to make friends and socialize. Whatever works.

Hehe nah.. I'll try and visit at least once a day. I know I don't post much but I think I can post at least more than 3 times. xD Anyway thank you! Very sweet greeting.
As for Basilchat..? As much as it was nice I'm not sure if it's coming back. I don't think any of us really talk to B much these days. But hey, you never know.. maybe he'll have it up again one day. It was just difficult to manage, not to mention it got DDoSed at one point.

All suspensions at Basil are anonymous for a reason.. to kind of protect the moderators from this kind of thing. I'm sorry that it's so strict there, but it's that way for a reason (like have you seen the community?) and us moderators there, or heck any moderator anywhere doesn't make any of the rules. We're only recruited to enforce them. There is the odd mistake at times but more often than not some suspensions are justified. If you choose to break rules on purpose, then I won't exactly be able to help you. But if you don't mean to, maybe things can be worked on to get suspended less.. since it's not really that difficult to avoid getting suspended in my opinion. But anyway.. not around to lecture you.. sorry about this paragraph lol. But I'm not here to mod no one of course, just here to be a person in the community much like everyone else. So please don't hate me for a job I may or may not have done before or at any point soon.. but I guess be on whatever terms with me for who I am as a person.
