They haven't stopped... They're just not as frequent as 2x events.

7 minutes in and I already lose my daily 2x buff and a spring of rebirth

Yeah, my game just froze completely and froze out my computer for a couple of minutes. It didn't even close down like it usually does when the game crashes, it became completely unresponsive.
There goes my daily exp and drop buffs, and right in the middle of my fight with Litvayan.
