Help with 2wire wireless modem - brewerb11 - 2008-12-27 I can get as far as the part where you have to enter your email and password when installing it. I don't remember the pass for the email and at&t refuses to reset it. Is there anyway to bypass the installation and/or just set it up without the email? There is nearly ALWAYS a way to reset the password for an e-mail--many of them also require an alternate e-mail address to be provided in the event you have issues. Are you the owner of the account? Sometimes they don't like to deal with anyone except the one paying the bills. Have you contacted them via phone and/or e-mail? If you've tried one but not the other, it's worth it to give the other a shot. @above-->2wire is just a brand name of modem/router; entirely separate from the companies themselves.
