Hi, I'm Andronicus - Andronicus - 2013-10-23 Hi! My name's Mark (or Andronicus if you prefer I guess), long-time lurker & first-time poster. I finally registered because I've been feeling like getting back into MS but I know that it's no fun to play without buddies, and since Southperry seems to be one of the only MS fansites with users over an average age of 12 I was hoping I could maybe find some cool people here. As far as self-summary goes, I'm 19 years old and I'm into music of all sorts (especially underground rock/electronic/experimental stuff, but I'm an aspiring music journalist so I can talk about pretty much anything), classic and medieval literature, languages, politics, etc. which probably makes me sound really pretentious, but I promise I'm the exact opposite hahaha. I live in the UK - Northern Ireland to be specific - and that brings me on to a problem I'm currently having, and one of the other reasons why I chose to register now. Given where I live, the only way I can access GMS is by using an old account created before the IP block way back when, and up until recently a friend of mine was kind enough to permit me to use one of their old ones. When I tried to log on again the other day, however, I found that the account's been deactivated because of inactivity or something, and I have no way to access any means of resetting the details or verifying the account, nor to get in contact with my old friend again. Basically, what I'm asking is this: is there anyone out there who is in possession of an old account that they don't use anymore and that they wouldn't mind giving to a complete stranger? I realise that this just sounds like a cheap scam attempt, there's no getting around that, but I promise I mean no harm and I'd insist that anyone kind enough to let me borrow their account change all of its personal details beforehand, so that none of them match your current one and you can rest assured I won't try to hack you or something. Please don't get the wrong idea, I'm not pleading for anyone's details. I've asked around a couple of old friends who I kept in touch with and I might be able to get access that way, so if this is too sketchy or against the rules then it's not a problem & I totally understand. On the offchance that there is someone willing to help me out though, I'd be eternally grateful, and if not I hope I can still make friends with you all. Thanks a lot. |
