I'm not going to be a bad man here but what if there was a crash or something? Something going over 600 mph will definitely cause major damage.

In order to keep up with safety codes, it would have to have a shitload of emergency exits. So many that, I don't see how the structural integrity of this thing will hold up, considering how much force is in motion inside of it. Sounds cool, but unless he has some totally new idea that I'm not thinking of, I don't see how it will work.

Seems like the main difficulty would be safely accelerating people to that speed. Keeping something moving at high speeds isn't that bad.
