Help on a bandit guide - Mejust - 2008-12-20 Haidar My name is Mejust and I'm one of the regulars of the bandit section at basilmarket As you could of guessed from the title, I am making a guide on bandits and I need your help! Now, before you get all excited or turned down, let me tell you in which way I will need help. My guide will contain a section which gives people's experiences with playing different types of bandits, so I'm currently looking for testers. The test will consist of this: - Getting a bandit character from lvl1 to lvl70 What build you will follow will be discussed, but you will follow a build you didn't on your bandit/cb/shadower if you already have one. Requirements: - Be able to communicate in English. Pretty self-explanatory. - Must be an experienced player (cb or shadower experience preferred). The characters will made in January in a server which is not yet definite. If you want to apply, post your in game name and server if they aren't already mentioned in your profile. Help on a bandit guide - Loose - 2008-12-20 Good luck with this, unfortunately, I can't participate in this because of the complete focus on my Brawler. All I can say is that as a level 122 STR Shadower, from the start, it was hard as hell and took a lot of patience to get to level 70. Maybe it was because of the lack of new, godly training places (Ludibrium didn't exist when I was level 60), but overall the experience was enjoyable. You guys will easily do a better and faster job, with Truckers/MP3, CPQ and WindRaiders/Typhons at your disposal. Once again, good luck, have fun, no rush 20. Help on a bandit guide - Chompy - 2008-12-20 I plan to make a Shadower. I was thinking Mid-January so I may be of some help. I am not like total level core though. Like 1-100 probably will take me a year. At least.
Help on a bandit guide - Kranzorbaken - 2008-12-23 sad cause im making a dit in deme right now got my outlawl to 80 and now i want a dit i can right down by build and training spots for you tho kk Help on a bandit guide - JakeAndBake - 2008-12-23 Is it really that important that they make it to 70? Savage blow is still the main attack in 3rd job, so the same strategies are involved Help on a bandit guide - Deviant - 2008-12-24 JakeAndBake Wrote:Is it really that important that they make it to 70? not really, this depends purely on your build. If you go a goby build you'll be using assasulter and Meso explosion way more than SB, if you go a Band of Thieves build youll be spamming that over at typhons probably, SB isnt really the main skill right away unless they stick to Voodoo/Hoodoo Help on a bandit guide - Mejust - 2008-12-28 Well, for BoT builders SB will be the main attacking skill till about lvl80, when you should have 18BoT. Help on a bandit guide - Blankout - 2008-12-28 I'll think about it. Although, I've never had chief bandit or shadower experience, nor do I play very often. I was thinking this would help motivate me to train a character, but I doubt you'd want me anyway.
Help on a bandit guide - Mashi - 2008-12-28 Had some Shadower experience. Might end up making one when I download GMS on my labtop. Help on a bandit guide - TheSmartGuy - 2009-01-02 So you're making a Basil guide but not asking Basil? Well, I can't blame you. ![]() I just find it unusual that you're creating a guide about bandits (which several guides already cover), while at the same time you're often a harsh critic of people who write guides that aren't needed. Unless, of course, you're writing this for Southperry. Help on a bandit guide - ItzTaylor - 2009-01-04 I have a level 154 Shadower and have had plenty of experience. I might be able to help. I won't be able to help by making a new character though, sorry. Help on a bandit guide - Mejust - 2009-01-04 TheSmartGuy Wrote:So you're making a Basil guide but not asking Basil? Well, I can't blame you. What the training guides were to you, the bandit guides/FAQ's are to me. I don't like any of them. And probably none of the bandit section regulars likes any of our bandit guides. That's basically why I've decided to write a new one. And yea, I'm fully aware that some stuff which belongs in a bandit guide is already in the misconception thread, but hey, lots of stuff isn't. Oh, and on the being critical to new guide thing, let me just say that I supported the idea of each and every one guide that was made. They just happened to suck to such a pineappling huge extent they had to be put down. And I wouldn't mind posting it on Southperry if it's done. |
