Hero or Cannon Shooter for a STR-based class? - Zaicil - 2013-06-26 I'm making a new character, bored (or more like annoyed) with Kaiser. I already have a lot of STR equips, so I'm looking to make either a Hero or a Cannon Shooter. What one of those two classes has more of a... ease of leveling? Also how is the damage on both of them? Hero or Cannon Shooter for a STR-based class? - Takebacker - 2013-06-26 Heros are, in my opinion, abysmal to train. Hero or Cannon Shooter for a STR-based class? - Mazz - 2013-06-26 I really enjoyed training my Cannoneer up until 4th job. Cannon Spike was a lot of fun, but the laser at 4th job is awful in comparison... compared to Hero though I'd definitely say Cannoneer. They're also both very strong, but I believe Hero comes out on top, Cannoneer will easily win on leveling speed. Hero or Cannon Shooter for a STR-based class? - Nion - 2013-06-26 Since you already had a Kaiser, go for hero. Just transfer the stuff and you could even go 2h sword. Heroes are more stationary where as cannoneers had a lot of mobile skills both vertically and horizontally. I wouldn't know about the damage about it though. If that didn't matter I would without a doubt choose Cannon Shooter just because I like to train and it seems like the cannon laser skill would net you faster exp than using RB.
