Nexon America will be showcasing two of their most beloved games, MapleStory and Mabinogi at this years Anime Expo at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Exhibiting at booth #1710, Nexons presence will include game stations for hands-on gameplay, cosplayers and photo opportunities.

- Game Stations: partnering with Alienware, Nexon will be featuring exclusive game demo stations for MapleStory and Mabinogi. The game demos will be running on Alienwares X51 gaming desktop so players can experience fast-paced gameplay first-hand and sign up to acquire immediate bonuses.
- In-game item giveaway: coupon codes will be given away to Anime Expo attendees, which can be redeemable for fee, in-game items including Maplestorys "Robo-Yeti" pet or Mabinogis "Mysterious Cat Costume."
- Cosplayers: bringing the games to life, MapleStory and Mabinogi cosplayers will be featured at the Nexon booth and also walking the show floor for photo opportunities with fans.
- Photo Opportunities: a photo op will be set up for attendees to take pictures with MapleStory or Mabinogi digital backdrops. They will be able to find their pictures on the respective games Facebook page.
- Artist Drawing Session: getting in touch with the shows roots, there will be an artist on-hand to draw attendee portraits in the style of anime characters on special game-themed sketch sheets.
- Raffle: raffle tickets will be given out to attendees who participate in booth activities. There will be a drawing twice a day to give away fun, game related prizes.
- Booth Prizes: attendees who participate in booth activities and receive raffle tickets can possibly win Mabinogi-branded spirit hoods or MapleStory-branded hoodies.

In this situation, the reskin is okay. The gorilla robo pet was very difficult to obtain, pretty sure I've only seen 1 in my entire MS career.

I've honestly never seen or even heard of the Robo-Gorilla pet. Anyone mind explaining how it was obtained ect?
It looks like a very cool pet, which makes it surprising that they never tried to make money off of it. I would have bought it.

My details might be off, but remember the dragon pet that could become green, red, blue with an nx item. And very very rarely black?
There's some monkey robot one with a similar setup. I think gold is the super rare one while the gorilla one is like winning the lottery.
On-topic: Bought my AX tickets last year, I will definitely hit the Nexon booth. Expecting free NX like 4 years ago :p

But yes, it involved buying a baby robo pet from the cash shop. You buy a rock of evolution from the cash shop and talk to an NPC to upgrade/transform it to a red, blue, green, gold (rare) or gorilla robo(very rare) at random chance. Yeah, it gets expensive if you're just aiming for the giant robo.
