huh. Wonder where Edward's going to go and who they're going to replace him with. Pretty sad considering week 2 of the EU LCS is in Moscow.

Considering they wouldn't let Edward play any other support than Sona. I think it's fair that he left. He wasn't allowed to adopt any new champions to his pool because of Genja not wanting to expand.

I'm pretty sure there's more to it than that. A lot of teams aren't willing to expand their styles to cover too many different heroes and will force certain ones on people (Dyrus doesn't play Malphite with TSM etc). It's probably more of an issue with bot lane synergy, like how Doublelift didn't mesh well with any of CLG's supports that weren't Chauster. Teams are going to be competing to have Edward on their roster though.

Edwards AMAA's have asked him what his champion pool is. He says Sona and he hates that he can't play more than just her 90% of the time. He says he dislikes the champion and wants a more Active support like Lulu or Leona or w/e.

People also speculate that another reason is because Genja and Edward have completely different play styles, and that Edward just can't stand Genja anymore.
