To celebrate the 8th Anniversary Patch, MapleStory will be having 2 days of Hot Time this weekend as well as Double Miracle Time on Saturday!

Log in on Saturday, May 4 and click the gift box icon on the left side of your game window to receive the following items! SP Reset Scroll and a AP Reset Scroll! Log in on Sunday, May 5 and click the gift box icon on the left side of your game window to receive the following items! Maple Birthday Card and a Maple 8th Anniversary Medal!

If you've been searching for ways to boost your power, youre in luck! This Saturday is all about making you stronger through the mysterious power of Potential.

And if you haven't heard about what potential can do for your equipment, check out the Equipment Upgrading Guide. Potential is a nifty system that allows you to add bonus effects to your equipment to make it truly heroic. So cube away from 2:00 to 4:00 PM during the Double Miracle Time Event for a chance to raise your rare equipment's rank TWICE with one cube! This means you could jump from Rare to Unique!

This is 12 AM - 2 AM May 4, 2013 on Saturday.

  • Check the top of the screen for the scroll message and the Double Miracle Time notifier at the left side of the screen.
  • You will be able to see Miracle Cube icons during Double Miracle Time.
  • During the event, youll have a 2x rate of increasing your potentials rank through Miracle Cubes!
  • Also, some of the luckiest users will be granted with a Double Miracle Time Blessing after successfully increasing rank TWICE! This buff will allow everyone in the map to receive Weapon Attack +30 and Magic Attack +30 for 15 minutes.

I'm not going to say that a Miracle Time actually paired with a Cube Sale is Girasol's doing because I have no proof; but with the way I feel she looks out for us and interacts with us, I can't help but think she had a hand in it. And even if no one else thinks so, I have no problem crediting her with it, in my mind and openly.

Does anyone know how much EXP the birthday card gives? I assume it's a level up potion, but the wording has me worried.

Max said it was a level up potion on his blog, but that was before the item was given out in KMS, so he couldn't have been sure.

Well... It does say it gives exp based on level... So I think it might be 50% exp. But not too sure myself... Hurt

Is it better to get to unique with the normal cubes first then use super cubes for legendary? Since with the 35 cubes for 36k package, it's just about 1k per cube, while it costs 16k for 10 super cubes.

I dont think you can take advantage of miracle time for increasing bonus potential tiers. Those cubes are no longer in the CS. Correct?
