Is it possible for a I/L to get a Pendant and/or Egg from a HT group without paying? What I mean is, is it possible for a I/L to join a HT group to get a Pendant + Egg?

Of course. In the few HT groups I go with, there is usually some slots in Party 4 which allows for Arch Mages and whatnot. In time, you will earn your Pendant and Egg. Since most people have a Pendant already, you can probably receive yours in 1-2 runs. Receiving an Egg will be slightly longer. This is all in Scania of course but I'd like to think that Bera's situation is similar...

If I can ask, what party is party 4?
Also, what level do they usually choose for a run? 150+? 160?

Um, Party 4 is like the "extras" party I guess. I've seen 13X - 19X Arch Mages in Party 4 in multiple runs.
Unfortunately, it comes down to connections more than level to get in a HT...

Connections are your friend to get into HT squad on an archmage unless you got another character to offer.

I have both Pendant and Egg as a LOLFP, and I'm on Khaini, apparently the most anti-Mage server in gMS.
Granted, it took me ~3 runs to get my pendant and then ~7 runs after that to get my Egg, not to mention countless runs where I've shown up as a sub only to hear "we're full LOLAM kthnxbai," but I have the items regardless.
So yea, it's possible. Level a lot, show that you are EXPED (I love that word) by being pro at other bosses with connections, and pretty soon people will realize the shitty Bishops they put in as "just in case" ressers would be better off being replaced with an AM. At least, that's what happened in my case.

My story is similar to his. I just showed up on time, completely ready but no space first run. Second run, went in, got pendant + egg. Now i go regularly unless we have a mass amount of nls and stuff.
