[MSEA] Patch V0.65: Happyville - antikel - 2008-12-16

Dear Maplers,

Please be informed that there will be a Game Client Patch and Cash Shop Update for MapleSEA on the 17th December 2008 (+8 GMT), from 0900hrs to 1400hrs (+8 GMT). The Game Service will be down during this period. Please logout before this time to avoid any loss of items.

The upcoming patch includes:

Version 0.65

Happyville Open!
The Christmas town is opened once again. Be sure to visit it this year and check out the new and exciting quests available!

When It Snows in Maple World (From 17th Dec 2008 ~ 21st Jan 2009)
The mischievous monsters are up to no good and have stolen Joyce’s presents while checking out the snowing in Maple World! Confront the monsters and hand the stolen loot back to Joyce. But she will only talk to you when it is snowing.

Surprise Party Event
A Santa look-a-like is hosting a Surprise Party in Happyville. Cliff will dress you up in the most awesome Christmas party costumes~!

Super, Golden, Missing Snowboard Event
Available at NPC Poch in Happyville for users over level 10.

Missing Santa Quest open!
Complete the quest and it will activate the 2x EXP events for you on the 20th, 21st, 27th and 28th Dec 2008 at 1600hrs to 1700hrs (+8 GMT). What are you waiting for?!!

Noo Noo the Snowman
The giant snowman is back again! Work together with all the Maplers to bring him down before he disrupts the festive session in Maple World!

Level 200 User NPC
Are you the top 20 Maplers to reach level 200 in your world? Boost your achievements to the Job Instructor! You will have the honour of setting up a statue next to the instructor.

Gachapon Update!
Look for the new gachapon machine added in the Nautilus map!

The patch notes for MapleSEA seem much more interesting than Global. But I guess it’s just a case of the grass is always greener. I’ll stop by and check it out though. Oh and I guess now we know what new Christmas stuff we will get in the cash shop, lol.

Well, in our patch notes we don't get a huge Snowman, but we do get an obnoxious Stocking...

I meant the event where you had to fill the Snow Blower with Nevermelting Snow and the Snowman spawned, ONLY in Happyville, and ONLY in the Extra Frosty Snow Zone.

Actually, I'm not that infuriated that we don't have the Extra Frosty Snowman...I was lagging way too much to have any fond memories of it, with the lag and all.

Well everything in the EMS extraction had an expiration date (appart from the chair). But if the whole versalmas/maplemas thing returns those will be permanent. But probably the same stuff as last year so somewhat boring.

I'm guessing pendant, but this thing's new so there's no way to know yet.

i oso think it is a pendant and it shld nt be permanent since this item is in the event after all
