Can't access my HDD - Kabanaw - 2013-02-26 Download smartmontools, open command prompt as an admin, then run smartctl -a /dev/sda to make sure the drive is healthy. If there are any bad sectors (look for pending, reallocated, and uncorrectable) then the drive may be failing. Is this a new drive or did this just start happening?
