Well, they did fix the dc glitch in the 3rd term.

The Test Server was a waste of time for GMS. They never fixed anything before releasing it...heck there's still bugs left unattended from the Test times...

Well, I do admit that they only fixed one glitch, and it was pretty belated, ha ha.
But it was not a waste of time IMO. I enjoyed it 31735013587x more than my global characters...

i tested all three waves and i have to admit, it was amasing. last two rounds a managed to get 4 pets meso magnet and item pouch along with alot of other nx. aside from the fact we still had to ride ships it was fun. then there was the duping bug with was amasingly godly. all in all it made me want to stop playing gms and wait for the test server to come back.

I've always waited someone to make a thread like this. I didn't feel like making one myself.
But yeah, I'm very disappointed. I thought NEXON was actually going to use Tespia for every patch, but I was wrong. They quit the project. Tespia was very fun, not only because you could become lvl 162, but because there mostly were nice people around, and the community was slightly better than the GMS one. Expecially the first round's community. It was great.
In my opinion, it didn't ruin GMS at all, as someone said. I don't think many people did like SlimShady and quitted GMS waiting for the next Tespia round. That's probably not the reason because NEXON closed it.
Well, maybe they didn't fix bugs (and that's very strange, because that SHOULD be the first Test Server's priority), but it was still fun. Testers could test content before released on the official servers, and I also won a Bug Report event because I reported many many bugs.
Tespia was.. special, that's all.
Too bad, we won't get Tespia even for this upcoming patch. We should've gotten Tespia Registrations the last week, but we didn't. Next week it should've been the selection of the testers and the opening of Tespia. Next 2 weeks should've been the closure of Tespia and the final patch on GMS. It usually goes like that. If there aren't any Tespia Registrations going on yet, there probably won't be Tespia for the next patch.
That said, why NEXON, why closing Tespia without even giving out some REASONS because you did it?

I think Nexon is justified for not having a tespia since Ariant. Why would we need a Tespia for the last few patches?
Nexon wanted the entire game to experience CWK at the same time just as JMS with Neo Tokyo. There was no JMST for Neo Tokyo.
Other than that, there was no "new" content since Ariant.

I think Tespia was just made to hype up the new areas. Nexon ignored practically all the bug reports, so that means most likely Tespia wasn't made to fix bugs. Pirates were supposed to be a big surprise and mystery, so they didn't want to have a Tespia for that. Same with Crimsonwood Keep.

with all the dupers and people acting like Tespia was a PS, and NOT there for the purpose of TESTING the new content, then maybe I'd be mad. I'm kinda glad we haven't had Tespia. I'm sick of people whining about not getting in (ok, so i've been selected 3 times, big whoop)
I don't think this is the kind of thing people need to be complaining about. Maybe we should be happy with what we have for once, or at least, complain about the lack of 13x+ places.

Less than half of the users used it for its intended purpose, which disappoints me a lot, most just used it like some sort of Legit private server. Anyway, I wouldnt mind having it back if it was used properly and actually helped cut down on bugs, however I think Masteria content should all be seen at the same time, like they did with CWK, no test server for that, sure there'll be small bugs, but I personally prefer if it didnt go into tespia.
Also: I felt it was unfair how the multiple accounts thing was abused, some people would post things like "I GOT IN ON 6 OF MY ACCOUNTS!" which made me feel like crap for doing it the fair way, and failing to get in every time.

Yeah, seriously...shows how great the GMS community really is. I had a friend that smega'd for help with testing something and got made fun of. People would just rather get their 16x character temporarily and fark around, even when it'll be wiped.
It doesn't help that GMS barely did shiat to fix bugs, too.

It's not really neccessary. The people who went on GMST didn't use it for the intended purpose usually. Besides, it's not like the poeple who actually DID help find bugs nexon payed any attention to.
I think nexon was hoping for an easy way to do bug testing and in the end their laziness bit them in the ass.
