Southperry Shirts Available for Order - Ordering Closed - Eos - 2012-11-11
Based on the results of the earlier poll we're going to try a production run.
Everyone has through
Orders will be placed Tuesday the 27th, take up to two weeks to process and ship to me, then a few more days for me to ship them to you guys.
Everything should arrive before Christmas.
Things to consider before ordering:
- Ordering is only available through paypal, via our market link - Choose your shirt size here.
- You have to go through the process once per shirt you want, sorry to those of you who want multiple shirts but I'm corrupting a process never meant to do this sort of thing and multiple orders are the minority.
- Shipping will be to the paypal address unless you PM me with your order information and an updated address.
- International shipping costs extra, see below.
Keep in mind the point of this process is to try to save SP members money and still get quality versions of these shirts. It's an incredibly time consuming and highly manual process on my behalf that I am volunteering to do as a courtesy to you guys instead of making you deal with the print on demand prices plus S&H on one of the various internet sites that do minimal quality.
Shirt Information:
It's "ultra cotton" illustrated in glorious 10 color on South Carolina Blue fabric;
"6.1 oz. 100% pre-shrunk cotton; Sturdy heavyweight cotton. Double-needle stitched for durability"

I think it's somewhere around 60 or 70 shirts but I have no idea how subject it is to fluctuation and how much wiggle room we have. Once we've got all the orders in I'll be able to tell if we made it or not based on their quote system.

I'm not going to make everyone wait indefinitely until we hit the threshold. If enough people can't get up interest within a week I'm not holding everyone else's money hostage for however long it takes to get to the amount we need, I'm refunding it and calling this a failure.

With a mandatory two week minimum delay before I can get the shirts plus up to another week or two for me to be able to send them all to everyone, an extra month of waiting is more than most people could be reasonably asked for. If we don't hit threshold but come in close I may be willing to post a vote to see who's willing to extend and wait a little longer, but I am not going to go into this proclaiming we're going to spend all month just before the holidays waiting for people to give me money for something they won't see before January.

Yeah I found the pricing on the larger one's odd, because if they progressively go up a dollar why don't the children's sizes start going down a dollar each size cause the fabric difference has to be similar if not even more profound. Just seemed arbitrary.

Obviously it's doable but international shipping is three times as expensive so international orders will both take longer and have to make additional arrangements to actually get it there.
