I went to reply to a comment on Youtube today and when I started typing a reply, a popup came up, asking if I wanted to change my display name. It sounded like a nice chance, so I tried to do it. Once I get to the last page, where I have to confirm my account information, it comes up with a blank page.
So, I tried it in Internet Explorer. It actually shows up this time! But... When I go to click the scroll-down boxes to select my gender and birthdate, the damn things are unclickable! What the hell! I then try Firefox and the damn popup doesn't even come up on Firefox.
This sounds like a really nice feature to have, but it won't work for me.

Might still be in Beta. Give it time, a lot of YouTube features are rolled out to some users before they're really ready. I think this is only for your display name though, don't think it would affect your channel's URL at all.

Yeah, it doesn't. My URL still says ShiKage08, but it's nice to see my real name next to my videos rather than it. I was able to use the feature by using Incognito mode. I forgot about it entirely. Oh well.
